For the past several years the Sacramento Kings and Milwaukee Bucks have held an annual summit called Team Up For Change. It’s a multi-day event to discuss sports, racial injustice, and how teams can make an impact in the communities. The Kings and Bucks have been two of the most progressive franchises in this area.
This year’s summit has seen an increase in participants, as the Kings and Bucks are joined by the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, Indiana Pacers and Fever, Dallas Mavericks and Wings, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
This year’s summer kicks off with a live stream event you can view on Kings.com. The event started at 9 AM PT (apologies for getting this up a little late) and will finish at 12 PM PT.
