Could the Kings trade Buddy/Barnes for Blake/DSJ and a pick? Would Griffin report in Sac? If he doesn’t want to come here and opts out next season, does that create a trade exception they could use? If he opts in, could he work out in Sac for a season?
i dont think either side does this. they still dont win many games so that pick is way better than what they are getting back.
Second Rounders? Heavily protected 2024 1st? I think it might be worth doing for the Kings (hopefully there’s something better,) whether Griffin opts in or out. Not necessarily that it makes them better, but that it sets them up to acquire a star down the road?
