After falling to the Golden State Warriors in overtime on Sunday, the Sacramento Kings continue to work out the preseason rust as they face…the Golden State Warriors. That’s right, it’s the Warriors. Again. But don’t worry, after this the Kings won’t see the Warriors again until…October 27th. And then again November 1st. And once more on November 28th. It’s fine. Don’t worry about it. It’s a normal schedule, find a new slant.

Things to Watch:
Guard Rotation: The big story out of the last game was Chris Duarte replacing Kevin Huerter in the starting lineup. The speculation was rampant about whether this was simply a wake-up call for Huerter, or if Mike Brown might actually make a change to the starting lineup. In Tuesday’s media scrum, Brown said that the plan was always to start Huerter again in tonight’s game. Duarte suffered a minor knee injury in the last game and will miss the remainder of the preseason, so we’ll simply need to take Brown at his word.

We’ll see if it makes any difference in Huerter’s performance tonight.
Tougher competition: After sitting out last game, Steph Curry and Chris Paul are expected to play tonight barring any late changes. We’ll see if the Kings can display a better defensive effort against tougher competition.
Steve Kerr said the Warriors will crank up the usage for their starters the final two preseason games. Near 30 minutes. Said it’s a dress rehearsal week. Regular season like prep, scouting, shootaround.

My YTTV listing does not currently show the NBA TV telecast as blacked out!
Same here, but YTTV also said the same against the Lakers in LA and when I went to watch it was “blacked out in my area”.
I don’t expect to be able to watch the game tonight.
The black out indicator for the L**** game was there early that afternoon, but so far so good for tonight’s game. And the listing for NBCS Bay Area is showing as blacked out, as it should. I remain hopeful…though nowhere near confident.
Brown said everyone was aware of his plan to play Duarte game 3, and Huerter game 4..Huerter said he wasn’t told. At my place of work, “less than truthful” is a terminal offense.

Another preseason game not broadcasted by the Kings? I’d love to know why this happens every preseason. What’s the deal? It’s pretty pathetic. I think I get it though because I’m outside of Sac but in both markets.
