This starting five isn’t great defensively but neither was the starting five with Bagley. This starting five is much more fun to watch and matches up well with the Celtics’ starting five.
Let’s face it, the tank is dead with Bagley out.
However, I feel they would be in a much better situation if they weren’t trying to make Marvin Bagley a thing. Not spectacular, but a dynamic backcourt and an actual modern, not outdated lineup. It’s not bad.
Maybe I’m seeing things but the D, overall without Bagely looks better. As does the team. Unfortunately for the tank, I think the loss of Bags means more wins.
HB may get pulled at half time as well as he’s playing so far.

There is going to be more impetus on moving Barnes, not only for the possible tank but to keep Holmes at this rate. He’s improving will command some loot

They forgot that Boston was supposed to win. They gave the Celts plenty of opportunities to take over the game and when Boston didn’t take advantage our youngs must have forgotten the tank was waived for the game.
You can add Holmes to the list of untradeable Kings.
It only took drafting Haliburton to win in Boston. Go figure!
After watching this game, I see why Ainge would jump at the chance to get HB. At the same time, Nesmith looked lost, R. Williams was anti-dynamic and G. Williams looked awful. Even a draft pick for HB is problematic- mid 20’s in a draft suspect at that area.
I suspect that there will be minimal if any moves. Teams are waiting for buy outs.
Kings won 2 but against mediocre teams. Best root for the tank and either top 5 or between 5 and 10: S. Barnes, Bouknight or Moody. The middle of this draft is not solid.
Defense is better without Bagley but the starting lineup is not sustainable- too small over time
