The Sacramento Kings continue their six-game road trip with a matchup against the Boston Celtics.

The Kings got back in the win column with a close 121-119 victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.

De’Aaron Fox came up clutch in the fourth quarter against the Wizards, scoring 11 of his 28 points over the final 12 minutes. Fox also finished the game with seven assists and five steals.

He hit the game-winner with just 0.7 seconds left on the clock.

It was Sacramento’s first game without the injured Marvin Bagley III. Head coach Luke Walton inserted Tyrese Haliburton into the starting lineup, and the rookie didn’t disappoint.

Haliburton finished with 17 points and four assists in 33 minutes of action, the most he has played in nearly a month. The rest of the Kings starters were impressive as well, with Richaun Holmes, Harrison Barnes, and Buddy Hield combining for 52 points, 20 rebounds and 12 dimes. Reserve center Hassan Whiteside returned to the lineup and finished with six points and six rebounds.

The Celtics have been plagued by inconsistency this season. Boston lost several players for a stretch due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols and has sputtered to a .500 record through 40 games.

Jayson Tatum leads the Celtics in scoring, averaging 25.3 points per game, while Jaylen Brown is right behind him at 24.5. Boston is 19th in scoring and 22nd overall in defensive rating.

Sacramento should focus on trying to get Boston into early foul trouble. The Celtics’ bench doesn’t provide a ton of offense, and if the Kings can force Brad Stevens to give some extra minutes to his second unit, it should help Sacramento’s chances.

This will be the second meeting of the season between the two teams. Fox had 26 points and 11 assists, helping the Kings to a 116-111 win on Feb. 3.
