The Sacramento Kings could make up some ground in the Western Conference playoff race when they take on the Golden State Warriors.

Sacramento has won four out of its last five games and sits three games behind Golden State for the final play-in spot. The Kings are coming off a close 110-108 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

The Kings will take on a Warriors team that will be without Curry for the fourth-straight game. Poole has been getting extra minutes filling in for the two-time NBA MVP and has been one of the offense's focal points with Curry sidelined.

Sacramento has played much better since Tyrese Haliburton was inserted into the starting lineup for the injured Marvin Bagley III, especially on the defensive end. The Kings are giving up nine fewer points per game over their last five, a big reason why they have won four of those contests.

De’Aaron Fox was dynamite against the Hawks, leading Sacramento with 37 points. Fox and Haliburton are growing more-and-more comfortable with each other and look like they will be two franchise cornerstones for years to come.

General manager Monte McNair has been busy making moves ahead of the NBA trade deadline. The Kings traded forward Nemanja Bjelica to the Miami Heat and acquired Delon Wright from the Detroit Pistons for guard Cory Joseph and 2021 second-round pick.

With a win, Sacramento would pull within two games of Golden State for the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference.
