If Fox played this aggressively and began hitting his free throws like he is now at the start of the season, I firmly believe the Kings are a .500 team.

What has happened to Fox…it’s like he’s become an entirely different player in these last 20 games or so. He’s playing at super star level.
Yea. these are becoming Harden-like scoring performances in terms of how crafty he has been. That spin to offhand layup gave me chills. I’m enjoying the Fox/Haliburton performance this evening. They might drop 60-70 pts combined tonight.

If I were drafting PGs now, Fox would be my first pick. Sure, others might be better now but all are older.
Saw the box score and thought I maybe should back off my negative stance from today’s trade deadline final and then saw no Steph playing and some unrecognizable names with minutes on the Warriors. All downhill from there.
Imagine if we played even 25th ranked defense.
Hopefully Delon, Moe, and Terence can bring some of that energy. All have played for successful franchises, Hope we see even a bit of improvement.

Mike Woodson was an incredible player for the Kings also. Not Nate, but no one was during his era. Mike was really good at the mid range jump shot.
Possible Fox and Haliburton both have career scoring nights.
Hali is nowhere near his career high of 28. He’s not likely to get it tonight, no matter how well he has played.
He had 21 with about half a quarter left. Guy must have had a career night. I’ll take that.
In Cleveland a few nights ago he had 28. So yeah, if you missed that you might not have noticed. These last 3 games have been excellent statistically for Fox and Haliburton even though it’s not been discussed much here at TKH.

against those backcourts this season.
Those backcourts are also integral to their respective teams overall success.
Still have to play the Jazz 3x. Kings will be lucky to win even one of those games.
I would definitely say they are in the Top 10.
Beating a Dubs team down 4 starters and a Hawks team down 2 starters.
Lakers with 2 HoF’ers.
Quality wins against the Pistons, Cavs, Celtics and Wizards don’t convince me of anything.
Other than beating really bad teams.
At least their beating the teams their supposed to.
This winning streak resembles the early one. Beat teams that are injured, tanking or
terrible.
Metu played hard all night, hustled on every play, he can dribble left or right, his passes are crisp and hit the hands of the receiver, he puts effort in on D, and he has a nice touch on his J and tonight at least he went to the iron effectively against Wiseman and Looney, two entirely different type of players.
For all of Guy’s nice shooting tonight I most enjoyed the heady part of his game. He knows how to run an offense, he needs time to sharpen his passing skills and play against better talent, but he has a chance as a nice role player off the bench.
Excellent points JP. Especially regarding Kyle Guy. I was especially impressed by Metu, and I thought Jeffries turned in an okay night even though the box score says differently.
You are absolutely right about Jeffries. He had an impactful game passing and running with the offense, and shutting down thenWarriors passing lanes. Good game by him.
