I just don’t believe this is good enough on defense. I like what Brown is currently doing; staggering Fox and Sabonis so that Domas plays with Mitchell and Fox plays with Monk.
At this point, Barnes is giving nothing to the starting unit on offense or defense. Our defense is bad, no matter who is on the floor. I say eff it, let’s our score other teams like the old Steve Nash Suns. At least, it’d be entertaining.

I am glad that Mike Brown has TD on a short leash. The Good-TD stuff (3 pt shooting, crazy dunks, individual defense) can be really seductive even when the Bad-TD stuff (stupid fouls, poor shot selection, bad team defense) is actually killing you.
On any given night, you hope you get more of the good than the bad, but when that’s not happening he needs to get back to the bench.

Now that was certainly an entertaining half. Started slow the first several minutes of the game but it’s been pretty much all Kings from that point on. Monk really finding his groove now after a rough first 4 or so games to open the year. Luxury to have this kind of shooting. Huerter’s been a stud all year yet he’s having a quiet half and the Kings still have other options to pick up the slack
Do you think we’ll ever get back to the point where you felt safe with a double digit lead at the half?

16 total points in the past three games on poor shooting and getting beat pretty regular on defense. He had Curry defending him on a lot of possessions because the lack of respect for his offense. All I’m seeing is corner camping. Teams have already adjusted to him. I’m not saying he’s a bust. Maybe he was put on a pedestal too early. Trust me, I hope he becomes a stud.

Some ill-advised shots down the stretch and then they turned their brains off on that last defensive possession just letting Curry milk the entire clock out. Should have had 7-8 seconds left for them to have a shot at tying rather than needing that heave by Huerter immediately on the in bounds play

Well Murray is going through something according to James Ham, plus he is a rookie which is expected. Its these two vets that the Kings can’t rely on.
Did Ham say he’s going through injury? Because that’s what it looks like to me.
The ball didn’t even make it close to the rim? The defender must have had all ball…. It’s not a missed call. It’s bias and it’s well documented.
Was kind of fearing that this would come down to seeing whether they could execute against a veteran team.
On the bright side, we’ll get the 2 minute report confirming that Huerter indeed was fouled on that last play! Good work NBA!

2 fouls, 1 play. The refs called neither of them. Refs should be fined for accountability.
Fined is too light a punishment, but I don’t want to get banned so I’ll just say suspension.
I don’t care about what y’all think but what is this the Kings 4th(?) 3 pt loss. They are playing better regardless of who they play. Instead of being a certain win for the top teams they are becoming a tough out who can’t be taken for granted. That’s progress whatever you think. Everything being equal they should get better as the season progresses. This is a different team than the ones we’ve become used to watching. Quit your bitching
Superstitious sidebar….I’m glad to see Davion back with the braids. I think that was keeping him back to start the season.
I thought the experts saying, “well even if the Kings are better it might not show up in the record” was BS, but now, I see what that means. Kings did not get blown out tonight. Huerter might not have hit all three free throws to tie but he was definitely fouled, and it wasn’t called.
Brown: “At the end of the game I just want someone to step up and call a foul…. It was a foul at the end of the game and we don’t need to tell the NBA that was a foul, they know it…at the end of the game you have to call the game the right way and that call was not called the right way.”
Brown is really fighting for his team and his players.
I would have liked to see Lyles in the game. Small concern, He is a savvy veteran and would not have been caught flat footed on Draymond.
At this point I’m good with firing all the refs and just going street ball. It would be more fair. Absolutely horrible no call.
We should start Operation BAVETTA for paying fines when the Kings speak truth to the NBA about their fixing games.
