Why are they still doing the pregame hype show when there’s no fans? I get that you wanna hype up the players, but jeez, seems kinda tacky to show a highlights video.
Perhaps it’s a matter of routine. NBA players and professional sports players are creatures of certain routine. Trying to simulate a normal home game feel may be more psychological than most realize.
If I have to keep listening to these announcers like Katie and this new dude Continue to be up in Marvin Bagley’s junk, about how great he is then I’m gonna have to stop watching. I hope Marvin becomes a decent player but right now he is just an overrated athlete

Why is GR3 on, like, his 30th team? He seems to bring about 90% of a Harrison Barnes on an MLE contract – I’d think his play would be more in demand as a bench wing than it is…

Are we starting off hot while other teams are shaking out the rust?
Are we actually good enough to compete for that top 10 seeding and end the playoff drought?
Personally I’m still waiting for the inconsistency to come so that it doesn’t hurt so bad as it would if I had high expectations.
And if we keep winning and being competitive against good teams, it’s gravy.
I actually thought their defense was pretty good. Good switching, contesting most 3s. Much improved I think. Fox clamped Booker for a few possessions as well. Even buddy got a clutch steal and bucket.
Kings used different looks all night, man, zone, trap, pressure and held the Suns to about 25% three point shooting, and won the battle of the boards, including Richaun picking up several offensive boards late in the 4th. All in all decent D by the Kings guards on Paul and Booker.
I dont know what you’re watching but there’s plenty of defense being played. They have played two games against teams with highly dynamic offensive players and done well keeping them in check. Its been a hard working, team effort on defense that I’ve seen so far.

Mark Jones caught himself the second time he said Rice and chuckled a bit before the game broadcast cut away for a commercial. I like the way he calls a game everything being equal. A real improvement.

Barnes has a really solid post-up game and draws tons of fouls. I don’t think GR3 is even close to 90% of Barnes.
I feel GR3 is a solid 3 and D man, but I still don’t know why he can’t stick to a team. He seems like the perfect player for the Warriors.
