That’s exactly right. He’s good good skills and he competes, but small and relatively slow just doesn’t play at this level. I hope he can go make a bunch of money overseas.
9th seed or bust. We’re playing the Suns or the Jazz in the 1st round. I personally would prefer to play the Suns. We match up better against the them. We could win that series.
My optimism sounds like lunacy. But it’s not impossible.
Don’t be so intransigent about learning new words.
My issue with Jones is that he’ll say something, as he did the other night, like “It was critical and crucial.”
They both mean the exact same thing. The alliteration isn’t helping, either. It’s a crutch, and he does it a lot.
Any dunk is “room service.” A shot that hits a lot of rim before falling away is invariably “halfway down and out.”
“And hey, Doug Christie! Do you know what ‘NBA’ stands for?”
DC for the fifteenth time this year: “Hmmm?”
“Never Broke Again!”
I used to talk for a living and still talk in my free time. Someone on the broadcasting side needs to make him aware of these crutches, so that he can work on eliminating them.
He should put his phrases in the book and send them to the line. Possibly even turn the sprinkler systems on because his verbiage is on fire. Because of you don’t like that, you don’t like NBA announcing.
Or are you saying that his 1st quarter vocabulary could come back to cost them down the stretch?
We’ll likely lose the Spurs game, as they’re trying to make the play-in game. But I’m betting we win at least 4 of our last 6 to lock down the 12th pick. Very exciting!!
I think we may be putting together a bench that can keep things even when starters are out of the game. I love how well Davis, and especially Wright, defend.
This game has been a showcase of the skill-sets Harkless, Davis, and Wright bring to the Kings rotation. It is such a better second line rotation than it was pre trade deadline. They are fun to watch.
I am pleasantly amazed at how long Harkless is and how many times he is able to use that length to make a nice play rebounding, driving the lane, or interrupting a passing lane. He is a really good addition to the Kings.
I am encouraged at Richaun’s steady improvement in his overall game. He is getting better with every season of steady minutes.
This game may be the best overall team game the Kings have played in quite some time.
All 3 are really good players. The one I have enjoyed watching the most is Davis. When he first arrived he was more of an iso player,Moho was able to get his shot, a valuable skill, in the last several weeks he has worked himself into the system and running the offense along with Wright. It’s really encouraging to watch the distribution and ball movement with Davis and Wright.
Andy, I think you and I and several others were thinking the same thing across a thousand miles, all three players are fun to watch, no I’ll feelings toward Cojo, but these were excellent acquisitions.
And CoJo has been pretty good for Detroit, too. They may have shut him down for the season, I don’t think he’s played much in May. I respect commitment to the tank.
Give up for a long time. Get into position for a lottery pick. Completely blow any chance at a playoff run.
In the last 10 games realize you do actually get paid to play basketball. Try kind of hard. Chase an almost mathematically impossible chance at the play in tournament. Eliminate any opportunity of a lottery pick.
Play in is possible. Friday will be the answer. If the Kings lose, it’s probably over. That would put the Spurs 3 games up with 5 to go.
If Kings win, They should take 10th. They should go no worse that 3-2 for the last 5.
Pels have a rough schedule. Will probably loss all the rest of their games. All 6 games against playoff teams. Ingram is probably out for the season with a sprained ankle.

Doug spot on saying Kings look a half step slow right now
Bags is feeling it
Layup line
I’m glad to see Ramsey out there, but why pair him with another undersized guard? It’s not doing either of them any favors.
Kyle Guy isn’t going to be around the NBA much longer
Beat me to it…the limitations are just too much to overcome. Ceiling feels like 11th-12th man on a bad team.
Makes him a perfect fit for us.

At least when the Kangz draft a player that player is likely to stick around and collect a paycheck for a year or three.
NBA payday, a few years over seas, then retire.
It’s a block party!
Did I just hear Doug correctly in saying that Bagley isn’t that far behind Sabonis developmentally?
at 22 years old
I suppose I can’t fault them for blatant homerism, but yeesh.
Jones made the argument pre game. He was just following up on that

Well if you’re gonna be a fan of this team you might as well be a crazy ass fan
Damn right!!!!
Buddy…dammit man
Bagley is getting everything that he wants out there. Twenty points with three minutes left in the half.
Bagley with 20 points and 6 boards…wow
Bagley for 22-23 QO
Look, he left Trash Bagley and came back Toronto Chris Bosh.
Possibly better than Karl Malone.
Strong finish by Holmes
Intransigent? Can always count on Jones to use some of the most obscure words

“Because at the end of the day…”
It has to stop.

You forgot to explain who would start with the ball in the fourth quarter. It’s some secret formula, apparently.
We’ve…got…a…DANDY here in Indy!!
Jones just did “disjointed and discontinuous.” It’s terrible.
Very impressive. If this is the real Bagley, then I’m all in. Wright, Davis, Jones and Harkless (defense) is refreshing. So far so good.
Bags $11m next year, then $14m QO for 22-23
I even like the way Buddy is playing…I know, I know
Been really impressed with Wright’s ability to play the passing lanes
He’s been playing like a defensive back! Him and Haliburton both have that ability
I think he could be a starter at point guard in this league. He has a really well-rounded game.
The maybe there is hope next year phase is kicking in
I think we might be able to make a decent run at the play-in game next season.
Buddy 8 assists in the middle of the 3rd… What?
Homes in limping ¹ï¸
Is, I meant. Hope he’s alright!
He’s fine

The Pacers look absolutely atrocious
Agreed
.
But he should’ve had his ninth and 10th assist those last two possessions. Perhaps he’s learned a thing or two from Hali
Buddy
Shit Bagley holding left hand after that last missed dunk
He didn’t even have to slam it, he could’ve just touched it in. Buddy set him up perfectly.
He has played to many days in a row. He is due….
Good to see Tyrese on the bench
Yes
They’re going to overturn this
Spurs down 17……
OMG, what have we been watching?
Pacers are going Kangz
You’d think I’d be used to watching implosions, but turns out I feel supremely uncomfortable no matter what team is imploding
I still enjoy it no matter who it is. Part of what’s giving me pleasure about our streaking finish to the season.
Yup, Guy will not be with us next year.
Doug and Mark showing Bagley’s dad some love.
Yeah, that is entirely uncalled for.
“Good job fucking, sir!”
CAN WE GET US SOME GOD DAMNED JAHMIUS RAMSEY ALREADY?
This Delon Wright is a player..
I think we may be putting together a bench that can keep things even when starters are out of the game. I love how well Davis, and especially Wright, defend.
I think Davis gets a 3-4 year contract from us.

Those three are all long, athletic, and defend. All of them have been real assets.
Maybe Monte knows what he’s doing after all.

The more I see these guys play the more impressed I am with Monte’s pick ups at the trade deadline. The bench is better no doubt.

Repeat year after year….
Repeat….that’s rich.
Maybe Vivek threatens them with a 16 week road trip to third world countries in the off season?
For some reason they actually try in the last 10 or 15 games?
Three games in a row holding opponents below 100 pts!
Forget Holmes, this team needs to keep Wright
