watching Fox, he seems to lack his usual burst. Normally, he can just blow by his man, but not seeing that so far. He looks tentative. Not trying to make excuses, but there may be something up with him
A lot of teams spend potions of the first quarter shooting 100%. It never lasts, but I guess I’d shut it off, too, if I thought the Nets would shoot 84% for the entire game.
Although honestly, something that historic would be a must-watch.
There’s historic, and then there’s Kangz historic. Had to throw that in.
But as someone who loved playing basketball when younger and had a couple coaches that cared, if I or any team I had played on had started out with the other team shooting that well, all the starters butts would’ve been planted at the end of the bench for the rest of the game. And we didn’t get paid for it either. Hell, the coach might’ve forfeited the game after the first quarter if we were going to play like that.
I don’t think he’s done it tonight, but Jones will be talking about Golden 1 Center during a road game, and will say, “Here at Golden 1 Center,” and it just throws me off.
you might be right, but you could likely be wrong. I don’t really understand why people have so much negativity as far as having to praise one by hating on another. Trust me, I’m one of the most critical of our team, especially really bad picks like Bagley, but when you say this stuff do you actually hope one of your best players regresses or doesn’t pan out? Sincere question. I’m as down on this franchise as anyone else, but you gotta be glad that Fox has at least shown you how great he can be, even if it feels like it’s a long lost memory at this point.
This team is trash dude. Just look at our 2nd unit and you might realize how much Fox has had to do for the team. That bench is the entire reason why we haven’t been able to start Haliburton and Fox, which is clearly our best lineup. I know this is a recurring topic on this forum, but does there have to be so much negativity?
How about this instead: I hope Fox and Haliburton become all stars at the same time – next year.
De’Aaron doesn’t have to do that much more than any other player who’s supposed to be the best on the team. Crazy that there’s this thing going around now that his workload is massive.
Oh, and interesting:
This team is trash dude.

Negativity is in the eye of the beholder, apparently.
do you not think we have a lot of trashing one player in order to praise another on here? also, that can be totally shifted from night to night
You missed my point too…I was saying that I also criticize the team, as I believe this team is really bad as it stands and that has probably taken a factor on Fox as well. He has played a shit ton of minutes for recently. Not excusing his bad play, just pointing that out as we have very little help especially when 2 starters are hurt. I was talking about the habit of people that seem obsessed with comparing players on the team as if they are in a competition, rather than rooting for the entire team. That doesn’t mean we should not be critical or voice those things. You should at least read my post first before zeroing on one thing out of context
I’m not negative on Fox, I just think that Haliburton is a better point guard than Fox at this point. I’m very happy with Fox, but this kid just happens to be better….IMO at least potential wise.
oh that’s fine. Maybe I misinterpreted, but there’s a lot of rhetoric on the site about people trashing on one player in order to praise another. Criticizing fox is totally fine, I definitely do it too. Didn’t mean to direct that at you, specifically. You may be right, Haliburton is so good and I’m damn happy we have him
WTH again no Kings game on YouTube TV. That is the only reason I’m paying $64.00 a month, to watch Kings games!!
Save your money.
It’s there.
Why not just buy league pass?
Please leave Barnes, Hield, Cojo and Hassan on the East Coast.
I like your username 👍
I think the first 4 possessions might synonpsize the game
5 easy points for the Nets while Fox misses an easy mid range jumper he would’ve made two weeks ago

Doug and Jones praise of Bagley is nauseating
21 points for the Nets, still more than half a quarter left.
Walton’s on the hot seat, unless this is the plan.
Chalk up another easy 120+ points allowed in this one judging by this 1st quarter. Business as usual for the Kings defense
I had thought about watching this one. But when the other team is shooting 84% in the 1st quarter, I think I’ll pass and just check the score later.

I played basketball as a kid, too, but it never occurred to me that any of those experiences would make any sense in the context of the NBA.
The defense is terrible, and could be improved, but no improvement is going to happen under the current guidance,
Harden literally carrying the ball over half court.
Lol CoJo
Playing CoJo is grounds enough for Walton’s dismissal
even worse to watch him run the offense with Haliburton on the court. Dude should never have the ball over Hali
Haliburton showing some moves off the dribble! Trying to find some positives…
So… much… Bagley praise.
It’s insufferable.
This Kings defense is so bad that I’m not ruling out them allowing 100 points in a half at some point this season
It may happen tonight
Another end of quarter turnover from Fox. Daily occurrence
I wish there was a stat for that, he would be in first place when it comes to to’s
I don’t think he’s done it tonight, but Jones will be talking about Golden 1 Center during a road game, and will say, “Here at Golden 1 Center,” and it just throws me off.
Holy cow! Giving up 42 points in one quarter.
I think I’ll pass on watching this one.
You’ll miss some really good players doing amazing things.*
*I don’t think I need to elaborate.
Kings at least won on their most important decision this season anyway when they drafted Haliburton
How in the blue hell should a player on the league’s worst defense be considered for All-Defense?
2 things McNair gotta figure out the rest of this season is finding a trade suitor for Buddy and re-signing Holmes
James Harden x Kyrie Irving x Kevin Durant = 2020-2021 NBA Championship
Haliburton just dominating this quarter
Tyrese is amazing
I can’t be mad at Luke for not benching Buddy for Hali so far because the tank is alive and well
Fox and Haliburton are going to be a fun duo moving forward!
I bet Haliburton is an all-star before Fox.

All he said was Hali will make an all star game before Fox, and you’re getting butt hurt off of that? Lol, take a chill pill.0
nobody is butt hurt, and with a name like that, you shouldn’t be telling other people to chill
Sjw alert
What did grant do, kill your puppy?
Grant is the opposite of chill. Even if you’re a fan of his, that’s pretty obvious if you had listened to his radio show once. *whoosh*

It’s the message board for one of the worst franchises in professional sports history. Gotta expect some negativity.

No worries man, we’re all good
Hopefully more Hali, Holmes and Jeffries this quarter. Less Buddy.
Wowsers, thank god we have Haliburton.
If Buddy isn’t gonna be hitting those open 3’s from the wing then he needs to stay on the bench
And he shouldn’t be starting. I think that’s one of the main reasons why we are always in the hole in the first quarter
If Buddy was playing like season’s past, the Kings might be close to being a .500 team.
Fox cannot make a damn free throw…
Or end a quarter
He usually misses the first, and hits the second free throw. Now he’s reversed it.
