Great first half by everyone. I only briefly had issues with Whitesides bumbling offense and slow defensive movement and but he started to make it up with the blocks.
Its not like we were settling for jumpers a lot either. But let a Kings player blow on Jimmy Butler and he’s on the line. He had more free throws ALONE than our whole team.
We almost pulled it out, Fox showing us that he’s an all-star. Just a great defensive sequence by the Heat in last possession but the play is predictable.
3-11 on 3s? He won’t be an All Star this year. You have to win games like this.
Star players have the ball in their hands in crucial situations like these.
Butler was the best player on the court and it’s not even close.
He won’t be an All Star this year because of his poor FT shooting. Looking at the rest of the conference, there are 7-8 back court players in the Western conference having better seasons, all on teams with better records.
Love Fox’s aggressive style. But, he needs to cut down on his 3s and work on his FTs. He was trying to channel Dame, Klay, etc. That’s not going to work. Has to be smarter with the ball.
Fox put up great numbers. But the the Key difference between Fox and Butler. Butler is a game changer. Heat are a lottery team without him.
Love that Buddy is making his shots and Barnes continues playing at an All Star level and that the team continues to fight to win each game, but let’s be honest of what this season is here. I do not want to watch these veteran guys play their hearts out (while the young guys sit on the bench) to wind up at 32-40 with the 14th pick in the draft. Whiteside, Buddy, and Barnes have all looked like valuable players on a team trying to compete, so let’s strike while the iron’s hot and swing some deals. I wanna see Guy, Metu, Woodard, Jeffries, and Ramsey every night so that they all have a good season of experience and are prepared for when Cade gets here.
100% agree with the sentiment. I just want to see Bagley get 4th quarter minutes in games that he looks to earn it. I thought he earned them tonight. Wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a raging Team Bagley tweet tonight
Many tipping points in this game. Free throws, the disparity & 5 misses by Fox as you note, Whiteside’s rebound on a good defensive stop followed by the strip and 3 by Olynick and no Marvin for his interior presence and his corner 3 point shooting accuracy (think about that for a moment) late in the 4th quarter, to name a few.
To me the Turn Overs that lead to points for the Heat were the death knell for the Kings in this game.
Still a fun game to watch, especially Buddy making a heads up play to change the game dynamic late in the 4th, a game I honestly believed they would win on the last shot…and that is a welcome thought with February on the horizon.
Anyone else think that Guy’s minutes may be related to a deadline trade of COJo?

What does Gallo have to say? And Christie is a serious good when he calls games … he seemed to be less goofy with Kozimor
Gallo ain’t here bro but he’d say he feels good about our chances
Put in Ty! Walton was a little late putting Ty in…
He’s in!
Ty lue?
Cojo and Ty? What is Walton’s deal with having to sub both in?
Had no idea Jimmy Butler was playing tonite
Opps
This version of Buddy is a real weapon.
Kyle Guy? Cool but wtf is Walton doing?
Kyle Guy sighting?
Another good first quarter!
Has Fox scored? That low motor is messy on back to backs
Gee I wonder why Fox’s arm is all scratched up?
Fox 2 for 2
I am just lovin Barnes this season
Guy is having a nice a nice 9 minutes
HB is just dialed in this season
Fox is taking the ref’s bait, he just needs to forget about it and play.
Hali…Hali…Hali
Haliburton with the dagger!
Yak in the Box debuted a new chicken dance.
Another good thing about getting old. You really stop giving any type of fuck about ads and most other things
At what point is it no longer the new chicken dance song? I’ve heard it about a thousand times already
Ask Marty. I didn’t pay attention
I did, but it was rhetorical
The Chicken Dance is new this year
Great first half by everyone. I only briefly had issues with Whitesides bumbling offense and slow defensive movement and but he started to make it up with the blocks.
Coit cleaning everything NOT dirty lol.
Fox’s free throws could lose this game if it’s close.
not encouraging that his FT % keeps getting worse with each year
I never shot better than 30% on my free throws in my life, though I am not paid many millions to do so.
Its wierd because his jumper looks better. I don’t get it
Again, Fox s an absolute mess out here
always has been on back to backs
low motors can’t play them
Heat commentators just called that a hard foul as Buddy barely nudged him
Heat rlly buckling down on d
We’re getting nothing going inside. Almost want to see some Bagley or Whiteside post ups. Almost.
It’s pretty much up to fox to use his speed to get in the lane
Anyone know what’s up with GRIII? Seems like he’d fit in well against the Heat.
Been wanting to see Guy but confused why the time is now.
probably Walton trying to preserve guys since its a B2B
Somebody tell whiteside he is getting paid to play. This isn’t a pickup game at your local park
These refs in Florida…SMH
Hali 3PT % starting to normalize these last few games lol
Welp. 3rd quarter
18 in the 3rd not cutting it. Quite shooting 3s damage is done we are getting killed.
You figured the Heat’s physicality would wear the Kings down as the game went on and them being on a B2B
Well that and Jimmy Butler
If we’re gonna win this game, Fox has to really step his game and there has to be better defense all around
Whiteside channeling his inner Shaq lol
Fox and Buddy back and forth just doesn’t get it
BUDDYYYYYYYYYYY
That was sick
RUN BUDDY RUN!!!!!!!
Garbage refs. BS!
Can we win at the buzzer?
26 (Heat) to 11 (Kings) free throw attempts?
Its not like we were settling for jumpers a lot either. But let a Kings player blow on Jimmy Butler and he’s on the line. He had more free throws ALONE than our whole team.
Wtf was that garbage?
The refs do be some emotional lesbians some times
Two bull crap officiated games in a row.
wow that final play sucked lol
Tank is back on, baby!!!!!
Get that tank started back up again. The Kings and the other 14 teams in the league under .500.
We’ve got thirty coaches and that’s the best play they can come up with?
I say draw something up for buddy.
We almost pulled it out, Fox showing us that he’s an all-star. Just a great defensive sequence by the Heat in last possession but the play is predictable.

Hopefully he can pick it up especially on his free throws and decision making. I just liked the way he tried to take over the game.
Yeah, Butler is the best player out there, and he’s is on a different league. The guy stood out against the Lakers during the finals.

A pity. Nice game, but Fox missing 5 FTs looms large.
