There’s a level of competence the KIngs are showing that I haven’t seen in a very, very long time
Game Balls to Fox and Hali. Fox, once again keeping the heat on and playing a complete game. Consistently showing up in the 4th Qtr of these past 6 games. Definitely playing like an All Star. Hali is just a big shot maker with the highest BBIQ of any Kings player I have seen. Outside of Chris Webber. Finally, the Kings get a draft gem. I am not sure if he’s a starter or not. At any rate he should be getting 30-35 min a night.
Time to trade Buddy and move Hali to the starting role. It’s the only way we can tell if Hali has the scorer mentality, to be the second option on offense consistently. This is the type of game the Kings would have lost in the past. A team missing key starters and the Kings don’t take advantage. Boston doesn’t have much depth. When you take away 2 key cogs(Smart,Kemba) Esp on a B2b it’s going to be rough. Jeff Teague certainly wasn’t going to slow down Fox.
