Kings have been getting killed by big man (Jokic, Tristan Thompson recently), but won both those games. I expect a big game from Embiid, Holmes in foul trouble, Whiteside to have more minutes than average, but hopefully Fox and the boys can contain everyone else and pull out another W.
If the Kings keep winning games, I may need to sign up for cable TV again (or Hulu) and stop relying on TKH recaps for 100% of my Kings game entertainment!

Oddly enough, Bagley did a pretty solid job defending Embiid down the stretch there in the 2nd. Really did a good job of preventing him from getting position in the post and denying the entry.
That’s gonna change in the 2nd half. Expect a heavy dose of hard nose PnR with Embiid. It was working for them in the 1st quarter but they oddly went away from it.
If you had told me that the Kings would be out rebounded, have twice as many fouls, and stoot 10 less FT’s at halftime, I would have told you the 76ers are winning in a blowout. Crazy.
He has a really good feel for how much he can sag back on someone and still attack the pass as it is coming in. If he was 5 inches shorter and 30 pounds heavier he’s probably be an all-star cornerback in the NFL
Bagley’s best game by far. Some ugly plays, but the effort is there, especially on defense and he needs to keep shooting those 3s. He finally looks like he knows what he is doing out there.
Looks like Luke is giving less leash to his vets. Whiteside has been awful these past 2 games. Sit him. Cojo has been awful tonight, run Guy. Good to see it.
– Buddy’s shooting slump may have been a blessing is disguise. Something has started to click with the other aspects of his game. His decision making has improved significantly and he’s a sneaky good rebounder. We need to see more but he’s definitely trending upward.
– Maybe Fox has taken a cue from Haliburton because he’s improved every aspect of his game. Wow, what a player he’s becoming on both ends of the court.
– I don’t know if the average basketball fan can appreciate how well Haliburton defends. I can’t believe a guy with just 20 NBA can be that fundamentally sound. He forces to the proper side, he positions himself perfectly off ball, he anticipates and roams with impeccable instincts, he plays perfect help defense, he plays the passing line beautifully, and he almost never leaves his feet inappropriately.
– I can honestly say, I’m not sure how you proceed. Perhaps now you go out and try to get some bench help. Maybe you try to start getting minutes for NB. Whatever, bench help is needed if we’re gonna make a run at the playoffs.
– Bagley’s improving and Walton is utilizing him properly. He’s not one of our top 5 but certainly within the top 7. A lot of great effort on a herculean assignment with Embiid.
– Can we get Kayte Hunter to replace Doug Christie?
Tough loss against a very good team…Few more free throws man and a few of those three-pointers that were halfway down Joanne, King’s gonna be the very very good team. I’m not sure that the officiating was fully even in my opinion, but Philly is a very good team

Kings played the 76ers tough. Now, if this team truly turned the corner, is beating lesser teams – convincingly! On Friday, I need to see the Kings outclass the Magic. None of this game going down to the wire sh*t. Yes, a win is a win but now go beat up on weaker squads.
Fox with another incredible game. Embid is just unguardable by anyone on the Kings. So massive and has a lot of girth. Doc Rivers is a great coach. Rivers was really the difference tonite. He outcoached Walton in the second half. The SIxers came out with a different defensive set in the second half. Rivers recognized Kings were having a lot of success running high picks for all those 3s the Kings were hitting in the first half. Kings weren’t getting many open looks in the second half. That’s why they were not going in. Philly’s has the horses to play serious man on D. Good teams will watch this game and recognize this is a possible way to slow down the Kings. Of course, you need the personnel. Still a very good effort. But, yes they finally lost to a good team that was 100% healthy.
A win tonite and I would have punched my ticket for the 4th seed. I still think this team is going to the playoffs(At Least Play in) If the team stays intact. If there are trades, we’ll see. The team has improved massively. The Kings have already made a massive leap just over the last month.
