Kings Pulse Draft Profiles: Tre Jones & Tyrell Terry

Talking short guys on the Kings Pulse podcast
By | 0 Comments | Jul 17, 2020

On today’s episode of Kings Pulse, the boys are back to break down the tiniest players in the draft. Both Tre Jones of Duke and Tyrell Terry of Stanford barely pass for 6-foot-2 in shoes. They are also both projected to go somewhere between the mid-first and early-second rounds.

But that is where the similarities end. Jones is a low-volume game manager that is used to throwing lobs to Zion. Terry has to carry the load for a less celebrated Stanford team, and has done so with a flamethrower shot while getting burned just as much on defense.

One is a steady Cory Joseph type expected to have a long career as a backup. The other has dramatic highs and lows. He could be the next Steph Curry, or the next guy at the YMCA who thinks he’s Steph Curry. OK, those are both a little extreme. But you get the picture.
