Bubble Blogs: Social media reactions

We all know one King who decided to break the rules already.

The NBA restart is going full steam ahead. All 22 teams are now officially in the Orlando bubble, enjoying the great food, and getting back to business. Unfortunately, we know one Sacramento Kings player who accidentally broke the rules and is now in the league-mandated 10-day quarantine.

Richaun Holmes will miss practices for at least another week, so it’s tough to see him being ready to participate in the scrimmages. He chose to sacrifice the on-court workouts so he could order some food from outside the bubble on Postmates.

Several other players have taken to social media to share their early thoughts on being sequestered at Walt Disney World. Here are some of the Kings players posts:

Buddy Hield has been repeating this tweet each day:

Yogi Ferrell isn’t forgetting about the youth!

If all goes according to plan, we will see Sacramento play its first game in more than four months on July 31.

On to some links:

The first few days in the bubble have gotten different reactions from around the league. ABC10 caught up with point guard Cory Joseph, and he shared his thoughts on the start of his time in Orlando.

Former No. 2 overall pick Marvin Bagley III is back and ready to go after missing basically of the season. The Sacramento Bee looks at which position head coach Luke Walton should play the second-year player.

Which of the five teams vying for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference can give the Los Angeles Lakers the most fits in the first-round? Yahoo Sports’ Ben Rohrbach breaks down each of the squads, and he wasn’t too kind to the Kings.

The pandemic didn’t stop De’Aaron Fox from making some moves. The LA Times says Fox recently put his Folsom, California home up for sale.
