No turnovers yet. So far, so good.
Not many fans in the arena…where is everybody??
No cut outs?
That screen with the video of fans chanting for the Heat was….weird.
Is this The Kings Herald’s first Kings game thread?
Yes…go Kings!
Did the game start yet ? As my NBALP shows nothing on its screen
NBALP sucks………as they shows I can choose either Heat Broadcast / Kings Broadcast, but the outcome is, all were Heat Broadcast…….
I want to listen to Doug and G-man……..
Ah, the G-Man has returned to TV. Even for a short while, I’m always alright with that.
Yup. Haven’t stopped grinning since tuning in and hearing him instead of Grant answer something Doug was saying.
It’s nice not being so consciously aware of how close the kings are to being in the bonus.
Those coaching shirts. My eyes!
Seriously on the timeouts are brutal
Would have liked to see Harry shoot a half hook on the block there.
Bjelica going with that quarantine hairstyle
Bogi looks like a grown up version of the kid from Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.
I’m not liking that big digital screen behind the bench. the visuals of it are bothering me a bit.
Loving Gary Gerould and Doug!
lol who’s playing power forward?
Not Marvin Bagley.
Marvin is positionless!
fruitionless?
colossal miss?
Epic burn. Can’t be tied down to a position if you’re never on the floor!
Bazemore. For reals. LOL
(checks score)
Well, the world has returned to normal!
“Shots behind the far line don’t count for points, no need to guard players shooting from there.”
-Luke Walton
Love to see H Gizzy rim run!
Why would D. Robinson all taking wide open 3 pts shot….
while our best 3 pt shooter, Buddy Hield, was taking all (a bit) contested shot…..
I do find it a bit funny that they practice social distancing on the bench, but the players are still banging around on the court and the team still huddles up at timeouts. Optics?
Reduction. While they’re all exposed to each other’s germs on the court, Corona seems to require some level of extended exposure to actually infect someone (unlike viruses that can infect with a single particle like Ebola). So, if a player is exposed for a shorter period of time and then returns to the bench where he can distance, he’s mitigating his exposure, and thus reducing his chance of infection.
It may or may not make a big difference, but it’s not a bad idea.
I’m convinced that Nemanja consulted a voodoo doll and decided he should vaguely resemble Tom Chambers.
does Buddy look a little bit doughier to anyone else?
Yes, I was thinking the same thing. He looks less cut, but also looks bigger/stronger. Could be a different kind of muscle mass?
Haitian rice and beans.
I just knew it was the same Buddy…as we all familiar with
as his poor ball handling skill resulted in a turnover….
Jeffries!
Brewer with the sneaky leg to get fouled for three free throws.
Wait, Gary just said Marvin is out for the season. Was that announced by the Kings?
Yesterday.
and twitter said he had left Orlando, and went back to home, what a joke.
He is not even staying with the team, and try to support his teammate
Actually, he might be required to leave by the NBA. I certainly see no reason why he should be in the bubble given he won’t be returning regardless of whether the NBA forced him out.
I do think he should be in Sacramento working with the medical staff, though. And for all we know, perhaps he was directed to go home. It might make more sense for the medical staff to go to Bagley than to expect him to come up to Sacramento given the current traveling dynamic.
daquan jeffries is either on muscle watch, or he’s bigger than I realized
I like Bazey!
I see Walton still has Buddy dribbling the ball around. He should take note how the Heat use Robinson. Catch and shoot. It’s that simple.
All the Kings knows how to utilize Hield, plain and simple…
@just like picking somebody at #2@
G man get a cough drop you’re scaring me!
Those metal shavings stuck to Doug’s face below his lip can’t be healthy either!
Perhaps it’s just today. But also could be the change associated with listening to a 78 year old man transitioning from AM radio to 4K.
Nobody has ever tired this before, conditions are strange for everyone, I like that Gary is understated. So, I bet he adjusts by the regular season. But in this already flat environment … he’s very flat.
Is there a scoreboard anywhere?
NBA.COM has an active one.
Why don’t the Kings Hire Mitch Richmond. Instead of the G Man?
Somebody get G-Man out of there. Dude clearly has Covid.
Doug is doing just fine alongside G-man. This is a good broadcast team.
If Parker can lose some weight, he can still be good,
just look at his dunk (assisted by Giles)
Their fundamentals are lacking, too many turnovers, and poor defense, still only down 2. Go Kings!!
It’s actually pleasant to listen to the broadcast for once, sans Napear. Doug even seems like a somewhat professional broadcaster now, too.
seems like Kyle guy got smaller somehow
They noted Igor Kokoskov still as an assistant coach. I thought he would leave right away for his new gig. Is he going to coach through the rest of the season?
Great to have some Basketball. Not much can be gleaned from the game. The Heat were minus their best player, Bam. So, was the Kings, Fox
Holmes, Len and Harrison not in the lineup. Heat starters played very few minutes.
I doubt we will get to see the full lineup until the first real game next week.
Nothing really stood out. Bucks next on the Pre.
