The Sacramento Kings are bringing Alex Len back to the team on a two-year, $7.65 million deal, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Shams Charania of The Athletic was the first person to report the Kings’ deal with Len.

Len played with the Kings for 15 games in the 2019-20 season after he and Jabari Parker ere traded by the Atlanta Hawks for Dewayne Dedmon and two second-round picks. Len left the Kings for the Toronto Raptors in free agency last year, but apparently he enjoyed his time in Sacramento enough to give it another go.

Len averaged 7.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and a block per game in 57 appearances, including 40 starts, for the Washington Wizards last season. He’ll join Tristan Thompson and Neemias Queta in the Kings’ center rotation, which is becoming quickly crowded. Time will tell what that means for Richaun Holmes, but given that this signing will hard cap the Kings, they’ll have to shed salary to give Holmes the contract he’s looking for.
