Buddy Hield and Jabari Parker have joined the Sacramento Kings in Orlando, head coach Luke Walton told reporters during a conference call on Sunday. Hield and Parker were among the three players from the Kings that tested positive for the coronavirus last month, so they didn’t travel with the team on Thursday.

Hield and Parker will have to return two negative tests before resuming full basketball activities with the rest of their team. The Kings had their first team practice since March on Friday. They had their first full-contact practice on Sunday.

With Hield and Parker in Orlando, the Kings have all but two of members of their traveling party with them. While the Kings can’t reveal who is and isn’t with them in Orlando, James Ham of NBC Sports reported that Len hasn’t been cleared to join the team yet. Len tested positive for the coronavirus in June.

Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee also noted that Harrison Barnes is the only player that hasn’t been seen any of the Kings’ social media posts outside of Hield, Len and Parker, so he could be the fourth person that didn’t travel with the team on Thursday. The Kings shut down their practice facility a few days before they left to Orlando because someone from within their traveling party tested positive for the coronavirus.

As things stand, no one is expected to opt out of the season for health reasons or otherwise. The Kings will play their first scrimmage on July 22 against the Miami Heat.
