I consider myself a pretty big fan of Star Wars. My parents bought me the chrome box DVD of the first six movies when I was younger, and it’s all I watched for nearly an entire year. I also watched Genndy Tartakovsky’s short-lived animated series “Star Wars: Clone Wars” — not to be confused with “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” which also aired on Cartoon Network in the 2000s.

But even if I wasn’t a huge Star Wars fans, I’d feel pretty confident in saying that I’d do better at a Star Wars quiz than Duje Dukan. For those that have already forgotten about Dukan, he had a brief tenure with the Sacramento Kings in the 2015-16 season, and he spent almost the entirety of his rookie season in the D-League with the Reno Bighorns.

Dukan appeared in one regular season game for the Kings. In that game, he played 24 minutes and scored 9 points on 2-10 shooting from the field. So, why are we talking about him in 2020?

Today, May 4, is Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you), which seemed like the perfect time to unearth this gem of a quiz that Dukan did for the Kings in 2015. Dukan was born in Croatia, but he moved to Illinois before he was even a year old. As a 90s kid that grew up in the United States, you’d figure Dukan would at least know all of the major characters in the Star Wars universe, right? — Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, etc.

He did not.

To be clear, this isn’t even a knock on Dukan — it’s just objectively hilarious that he’s the guy they picked to do their Star Wars quiz. Like, there wasn’t one person that could have done better? Particularly someone that played more than 24 minutes for the team? Seth Curry seems like a Star Wars guy!
