The Sacramento Kings are re-signing Terence Davis to a two-year, fully-guaranteed contract, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN on Wednesday. Davis’ annual salary will be $4 million, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Davis is coming off of a productive 27-game stint with the Kings in which he averaged 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and a steal per game while shooting 43.9% from the field and 37.2% from behind the 3-point line. The Kings acquired Davis from the Toronto Raptors for a second-round pick in March.

Playing time won’t come easy for Davis in a back court rotation that already features De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton and Davion Mitchell, but it’s hard to imagine that he won’t have some role on the team given the scoring punch he provided the second unit with last season.
