When asked about his upcoming return to Sacramento, Rudy Gay responded that it was just another game. Rudy’s been in the league a long time, and it’s an understandable response, but it’s easy to see how some Kings fans could take offense to it. But Rudy clarified the remark on Twitter after someone took offense.

Rudy was always a professional in Sacramento even as he endured a dysfunctional organization and a fan base that often underappreciated him (myself included). Hopefully Rudy receives a warm ovation today.
