How to watch: The Kings’ quest to end their playoff drought begins in 7 days!

We are just a week away from the official return of Kings basketball!

Here we go! The NBA has managed to keep the coronavirus at bay in the Orlando bubble, and the league is moving full steam ahead with its plan to finish up the 2019-20 season.

The Sacramento Kings will try and get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2006. The Kings are 3.5 games behind the Memphis Grizzlies for the eighth seed in the Western Conference and will need to to beat out four other teams to finish in the top nine. If Sacramento can get the ninth spot and be within four games of the eighth seed, it will advance to the play-in round.

Orlando has been rough on the Kings to start. Forward Marvin Bagley III injured his foot during a scrimmage and is done for the remainder of the season, while veteran Harrison Barnes’ status remains to be seen. Once he joins the team in Orlando, he will have to quarantine and will likely miss at least the Kings’ first official game. Richaun Holmes and Alex Len had to miss some valuable practice time due to the NBA’s coronavirus protocol, while star guard De’Aaron Fox will play catch-up after missing some time with an injured ankle.
