The 2019-20 NBA season is still under hiatus due to the COIVD-19 outbreak, but the virtual season will get underway May 5.
The NBA announced its NBA 2K League will begin its schedule next week after being postponed from its original start date of March 24.

There will four games played on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week starting at 4 p.m. which you can stream on Twitch.tv/NBA2KLeague and YouTube.com/NBA2KLeague.
I watched some of the games between NBA players during their 2K tournament and found it a lot more interesting than the H.O.R.S.E challenge, which felt like I was watching a bad 80s video game.
I enjoyed checking out the NBA players talking smack to each other during the tournament, although some of the games were complete blowouts, like Sacramento forward Harrison Barnes getting smoked by Trae Young.
For now, the virtual world remains where we will have to settle for our basketball fix.
The NBA will allow teams located in cities where social distancing rules have been loosened to open their practice facilities as early as May 8.
With California looking at June 1 as the earliest possible date to get into phase 1 of reopening, don’t expect the Kings to be playing at the Golden 1 Center anytime soon.
