The Sacramento Kings are coming off a blowout defeat against the Golden State Warriors and will try to end their three-game losing streak when they host the Chicago Bulls.

Head coach Luke Walton will need to find a way to get his troops back on track. The Kings have been outscored by 42 points over their last three games and are shooting just 41.3 percent from the field during that stretch.

With Tyrese Haliburton sidelined with a wrist injury, Sacramento has shot 30.2 percent from the 3-point line over the last two games. That’s down from 36.4 percent with Haliburton in the lineup.

Chicago used a balanced attack and had seven players score in double-figures in its 111-108 win over the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday night to get back to .500 on the season. The Bulls backcourt of Zach LaVine and Coby White combined for 39 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists against the Trail Blazers.

As Walton promised, his team is playing faster this season. Sacramento ranks ninth in PACE seven games into the schedule, which is up from 19th last season. This is a good opportunity for the Kings to turn things around. The team should push the pace early and challenge the Chicago, who will be playing their third game in four nights.

Point guard De’Aaron Fox has had a good start to the season, averaging 20.6 points and 6.3 assists per contest. It should be a good matchup between Fox, LaVine and Coby White.

The Kings need more from Buddy Hield, who has struggled during the three-game slide. He’s shooting just 34.0 percent from the field and 34.2 percent from beyond the arc and needs to get back into his early-season form to help turn things around.
