We don’t know yet if or when the NBA regular season will resume, but we will definitely have an “offseason” at some point where player movement dominates the headlines.
Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz put together some hypothetical trades from a Brooklyn Nets perspective to try and a land third star to play with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant next season.
Here is his trade:
Allen is double-double machine who would most likely come in and start at center, solidifying the position that has seen head coach Luke Walton use a rotation of different players. Adding Allen would make sense if the team doesn’t re-sign Alex Len after deciding not to pickup the option for Harry Giles. Richaun Holmes has played well and looks to be in the team’s long term plans. The first-round pick is enticing, but you’re looking at a pick in the 20s with Philly being a top-5 team in the east.
What do you think of Swartz’s trade proposal?
