Final Score: Kings Stomp the Celtics, 118 to 96

Six Kings scored in double digits, led by Isaiah Thomas' 27 points, and DeMarcus Cousins recorded his first career triple-double to lead Sacramento past the Celtics.

The Sacramento Kings won their second game in a row in convincing fashion despite being without the services of two key players in Tyreke Evans and Aaron Brooks. Isaiah Thomas led the way with 27 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. John Salmons (23 points) and Jason Thompson (20 points) both reached season scoring highs as well.

DeMarcus Cousins scored just 12 points on 12 shots, but managed to have a big impact on the game in other areas on his way to his first career triple-double, as he added 10 rebounds and 10 assists. He also played solid defense and picked up a couple of charges.

The Celtics did welcome back Rajon Rondo to their starting lineup, and while he still distributed well (team-high 10 assists), he scored just 2 points on 6 shots and was getting worked over by Isaiah Thomas on defense.

Ball movement continued to be excellent for Sacramento as they reached the 28 assist mark for the fourth straight game. It should come as no surprise that the Kings are 3-1 during that span and have been much more entertaining as a result.

The Kings did suffer a blow though, as they lost Marcus Thornton to an apparent ankle injury in the 3rd quarter. Thornton was fouled shooting a three, and he came down on Jason Terry's foot. Thornton was helped off the court. While no official prognosis is in just yet, it did not look good and Thornton could be out a while.

Sacramento has won six of their last seven home games, but now they'll have to take care of business on the road. Starting Tuesday in Detroit, the Kings will play four games out east.

Full recap will be out later tonight or tomorrow morning. For now, everybody dance!
