Marcus Thornton injury: Kings guard carried off the court with sprained ankle

Marcus Thornton turned his ankle badly in third quarter of the Kings' win over the Celtics. He didn't return.

Tyreke Evans didn't play, but could be back for the four-game road trip that begins Tuesday in Detroit. (Evans is getting a second opinion on his knee on Wednesday, and as such isn't likely to play until Friday at the earliest.) Aaron Brooks missed Sunday's game, too. Thornton started next to Isaiah Thomas, who played an incredible game (27 points on 10-15 shooting). If neither Thornton or Evans can play on Tuesday, one would expect Francisco Garcia to get the nod.

Thornton finished the game with five points on 2-7 shooting.
