KINGS WIN!
&ct=g
Kerr’s reaction after the 3rd quarter…
Dumbs fans after their team choked the game away…
perfecto.
Will be fun to watch the fairweather/bandwagon Duds fans disappear from G1C in the coming years as the Duds continue to suck.
What a comeback from that lethargic first half
Don’t do it again my heart can’t take it
Naw play fools and then rope them. I love the swagger
Warrior (Haka) Dance! Kings Win!
I respectfully shit my pants pre-game in rugby when teams performed the Haka
Shit your pants? I get semi aroused.
smelly bum means a smelly scrum
Haka tuah?
Weird and refreshing to see a Kings team play a poor, sluggish first two quarters, then make effective halftime adjustments, and come away with a win.
Good teams do that.
I almost feel bad for the Dubs. That first half was one of the better halves they had played the last few weeks. Their era really is over.
I love to see it in real time
Keegan and Keon turned this game around with defensive intensity.
DeRozan capitalized on the stops by nearly outscoring the Warriors in the 3rd.
They absolutely changed the game in the second half. I feel like DC is trying to give Huerter a chance in the first half of these games but he’s been so bad he just has to sit. More minutes for Keon please.
This road trip can help define the rest of this season. Are we a top 6 seed? A play in team? Or a lotto team?
Would love to see us go at least 4-2 over this stretch.
3-3 is really the bare minimum to keep the pace in which we’re going(making up foe lost time)
6-0
Two key stats show how dominating Kings were in two facets of the NBA game.
They neutralized Golden State’s large advantage of made threes making 30 of 32 Free Throws and 13 of 13 in the 4th quarter.
The Kings destroyed the W’s on Fast Break points 23 to 0 looking at the stats. Kerr begging his team to push the pace and they can’t score a single fast break basket.
The W’s died by the 3 even though they shot them well.
Forcing Curry to pass the ball by trapping him and picking him up right across the mid court line taking away the extra long 3 was classic Doug Christie from his playing days.
Outscored by 33 from three. Not gonna win many games when that happens but they pulled it out tonight.
Indeed. 23-0 fast break advantage and 30 of 32 free throws is one path. Fun game to watch with any number of alternating runs by each time in the 2nd half. Some very unique stats in a big win.
Warriors and Chiefs fans complaining about the refs will never not be entertaining
Night night

Man, I love this team! Christie pushed all the right buttons at halftime.
good night- night duds! LTB
I am so tired of those arrogant jerks. Prancer went 5/6 in first half and 1/5 in the second. Too many random duds got hoops though
I saw Santos in Summer League a few years ago and he was terrible but made 4 threes tonight
Sloppy and fun, my favorite!
Gonna chalk up the lethargic first half to rust from two days off. First half has to be better tomorrow – won’t be able to come back from a deep hole against DEN.
should I post a gif?
do it
.
Anytime we beat the Warriors, I am a very happy person. 🙂
night-night day -day
Them and the Lakers. F*ck ’em both!
Not the cleanest of games but still enjoy letting GSW know that they’re washed up. We dropped them below 0.500 and out of play-in ranking today.
It wasn’t pretty but we defended home court.
Shout out to my fellow Dutchman Quinten Post!
Too bad he’s wearing a W’s jersey.
Then no shout out, just shout at.
I think everyone understands Fox’s inconsistent motor has no fit anymore
monk/keon starting
Fox isn’t a sg, not good off ball or shooter
Something is definitely off with Fox. I wonder if the fall against MEM is still bothering him. He was good the first couple games back, but the past few games no bueno.
Fox is injured douchebags
douchebags injured Fox
In the stars be like double spacing hard I feel like this gives me time to respond
Nope you douchbags didn’t know Fox was injured… Why?
cuz… douchebags gotta douche.
https://kingsherald.com/community-guidelines/
I love you because I am Jesus… Let’s see how it plays out
I’ll take a different approach. I do think he is banged up. That finger is definitely bothering him. Shout out to him for playing through it.
The other thing is, everyone else is stepping up around him so he can be more of a natural point guard. This was one of the problems he had earlier in the season. He had to do TOO much. Keep Fox fresh because if we are going to make a serious playoff push and i mean a deep playoff push, we will need a fresh Fox. The man has the league high 60 points. We need that Fox once these games come down to seeding.
These games are already coming down to seeding, though. The West is so damn tight 5-10, that losing a game can drop a team 1 or more slots. This team can’t afford to have Fox playing poorly too often. The rotation is 7 deep on most nights. Overcoming games when one of your top players plays like ass for 3 quarters is a recipe for disaster in the long term.
Luckily this team is resilient and has others that can step up when needed. If Fox is that injured, then he needs to sit and get right, because he was bad for the first 43 minutes.
Good observations by you both, but is Fox seemingly playing poorly because he’s not scoring as much, or have other players stepped up? He’s our PG. Right now, he doesn’t have to score a lot and he can be our floor general. Not too many teams (somebody please check) have won championships with the PG being the best player.
That 8-11 is a bit misleading if no one else was doing anything those games and if you’ve watched damn near every game like I have, Sabonis has been the only “consistency” we’ve had all year. Maybe Keon as well outside of him giving up and unusual amount of 4 point plays. Love Keon though. Has real heart.
My only disagreement is, we keep the core and add to it if MM EVER gets the damn balls to pull the trigger on a real back-up PF/C and an underrated wing.
If it fails, bail on Fox and get a haul back.
Here’s an interesting bit of data I noticed the other day.
The Kings are 8-11 when Fox is the team’s scoring leader for the game.
They’re 15-9 when someone else is the scoring leader.
I get the focus on the 60 point game but in this 10-1 stretch of games, Fox has only led the team in scoring 3 times.
Distribute the ball, play the hot hand, win games.
That said, they don’t win that game last night without Fox going 10-10 on his FTs after driving to the rim to create those fouls.
I think it’s looking like they don’t make a major move until the offseason. But to me, I still think Fox is the one top 4 player (Fox/Sabonis/Monk/DeMar) they can afford to lose and remain competitive in the playoff hunt.
LTB!
and yet, Top Plays of the Night have only Wiggins’ 4pt play and that Curry Floater on their reel.
Granted, I’d rather have the win. Always good when the Dubs go down in SacTown.
Second half defense was wildly impressive. They were ball hawks. I’m currently terrified that Keon is being sent out in a trade when I wish it was Fox being moved.
Earlier in the ESPN broadcast they had to point out Curry’s 50-pt game seven. A game where he torched the Kings all night while Mike Brown helplessly stuck to the game plan of benching Davion and letting Curry do whatever he wanted.
The adjustments that Doug made in the second half today never would have happened under Brown. Can we also spare a moment to think of how bananas it is that Doug Christie is actually the head coach of the team and that they are 10-2 with him? He was so goofy as a broadcaster I did not have him pegged as future head coach material. No Fox given! Boi-oi-oing!
Orlando Magic be all like we drafted him but he sucked because
Awful first half but they got rolling in the third quarter. The Monk/Keon/Keegan/DDR/Sabonis line up took over the game. I still think that’s our best lineup because of the defense by Keegan and Keon. They just don’t let anything into the paint and then blocked shots if guys did get there.
Great win because tomorrow is a BRUTAL back to back.
Whenever a 3 beats a 9 is a good day.
Got off work and turned it on right before the Keon 3 to take the 1pt lead in the 4th. What a finish. This team flips a switch in 4th quarters and it’s really night and day when they do. Overall a great team win and huge games from the Cardiac Kings
The Kings should not be allowed to win against the Warriors
Are you good Ellis5? Name calling up above in the comments, something about the Magic drafting a player, a 3 and a 9, now this.
Jones dropped a “Malik means King in Arabic” on Myers right at the end!
Fuck… Pay Marty … They have the receipts
