Game has all the makings of a blowout loss IMO. Kings missing 2 key players on a team that’s already struggling with getting quality production from its depth vs a team coming off B2B losses to a weak Portland team so you know they’re pissed. Add in the usual struggles this roster has vs bigger teams and it feels like an uphill battle tonight
Realistically Lyles should be starting. But because that would essentially mean he and Keegan would need to play 48 minutes tonight, Brown has tried to experiment with Len. Honestly, if we’re experimenting I’d much rather see Isaac Jones then Sabonis at the 4 next to Len.
Trying to match with their size did not work and it just bogged the offense down. Gotta lean more in the Lyles small ball 5 stuff and need him to have a game as good/better than he just had vs the Suns
Dribbling out the clock in front of Jaden McDaniels is a very bad idea, especially when you’re De’Aaron Fox and seemingly have no ball handling ability anymore
Offense isn’t firing on all cylinders, and TOs have crushed any momentum they’ve picked up. Not sure how they plan to turn this around next half. Defense has been solid.
MB’s biggest problem as a coach is he’s stubborn. He’s hard to convince to pursue something different. That means when he’s lacking something he needs (a defensive forward) he ends up playing stupid rotations to prove a point rather than try to innovate around team strengths and schematics. He’s not adaptable. He knows what he wants to do and the players he trusts and he’ll keep trying to jam a square peg through a round hole and tell you that it’s your fault for not giving him a sphere.
I guess I agree, but Brown does seem to be short of players, which is a contributing factor. With that said, putting Sabonis, Len and Huerter on the floor at the same time is a head scratcher.
Fox and Domas were 32 for 50 (64%) for 83 points. The rest of the roster was 16 for 46 (35%) for 43 points. None of them can play defense, and you can’t blame players for not having talent, but it’s hard not to be pissed at the other 7 guys tonight for just flat out sucking.
Alex Len starting to replace DeRozan?
This experiment sucked.
Brown over thinking.
Fox, Huerter, Murray, Domas, Len; I want some of what Brown’s smoking
Give em some Lensanity!
Man, we just kinda suck at everything
Welp that didn’t work. try try again. Need to get to the line the rest of the quarter

Well that’s that I guess
Fox did not get the memo

Had my foul count off. Way to stand in there and take the charge

Critical for the 3 to fall tonight
Not even really an “of course it went in” shot there, Lyles didn’t go over the screen and Randle wasn’t really contested
Stop fouling on 3PA!
Ive liked how the Kings have defended honestly, I think the Wolves have hit some tough shots
The grey court would look fine if the cup at center was gone, and gold in the paint was purple.
The Kings need to win the paint or is it primer tonight?
Kings -12 from 3PT in a game they’re trailing by 9
booo these refs
Whole lot of standing around on that possession there
That’s kind of our offense now, it usually works out because we can just feed it into Demar but here it just falls apart
Kings desperately need another shot creator right now
Dribbling out the clock in front of Jaden McDaniels is a very bad idea, especially when you’re De’Aaron Fox and seemingly have no ball handling ability anymore
Jaden McDaniels is the nba’s best at guarding Fox. last three years.
Staying in the game but never really feels like they’re threatening to get the lead that entire half
Offense isn’t firing on all cylinders, and TOs have crushed any momentum they’ve picked up. Not sure how they plan to turn this around next half. Defense has been solid.
Is it just me watching with purple glasses or are these refs blind?
it’s not you, it’s the refs.
Too Short at halftime is a treat
These refs are idiots man
Gobert flops and Fox get called for his 3rd foul? Gotta boo these refs
Conley bounce back game, go figure
Wow this looks like shit to start the second half
Not sure how you start the 2nd half with the same starting 5 with how they looked to start the game. Deficit just ballooning now
If it’s broke, don’t fix it.
-Mike Brown
Looking like a long season ahead
-18 from 3PT, down 18.

I agree he is lacking personnel, but better coaches would focus on what they do have and get the most out of it
I know this is like saying water is wet, but the Kings are a terrible defensive team. And it isn’t like Monk and DeRozan are a big loss here.
Somehow 12th in defensive rating, just not good enough offensively to make it not matter
I don’t think the schedule has been that difficult. Nice comeback here though.
Fox might mess around and drop 50
Need consistency out of Huerter offensively.
Current lineup: Fox, Fox, Fox, Fox, Doesn’t f-n matter
How much you think Kyle’s getting paid every time he says Emirates NBA Cup?
Huerter’s first points
Herculean effort from Fox this game
Bad rebounding and the refs screwed us by not giving Brown that timeout
Refs wyd
Could’ve had that in regulation but the refs have money on this
Fox deserves to get this win. Minus Domas, been hauling a whole roster full of dead weight around for the whole game.
Need somebody to give Fox some scoring support in OT. Dude is gassed out here
Fox needs to pass the ball and someone else needs to score.
Wide open 3’s….
Think you gotta put Keon in over Huerter for defense. Huerter isn’t providing anything on offense tonight
Damn Keeg straight up airballing that open corner 3
Anthony Edwards is really good at basketball
Damn man that hurts. Wasted an all time Fox game. Couldn’t get any stops in OT and Minny also hit some insanely tough shots in that OT.

Tired of Huerter and Murray. Murray isn’t a 3rd option.
They have looked streaky. This roster cannot afford streaky.
Once again it is a proven fact that defense is a requirement.
Nothing Domas could of done on that last shot. Edwards just hit some tough ass shots.
Defense is an entire game sort of thing.
