Competitive loss
You think it’s going to be competitive? That’s some JLV level fandom right there!
Lol. Poor DC though. Getting this shitshow on national TV
Maybe this will wake him up! I’m going to bed.
So, the Dubs game was blacked out here on TNT. Will we get the Kings game?
I don’t really want the Kings to make the playoffs.
long time fan here. Is it just me or does this iteration of the kings look like they just dropped into the gym for a pick up game and have never played together before? Sabonis deserves better.
It’s not just you. No cohesion on offense st all. Just a bunch of dudes running a pick up offense
I don’t have league pass and live in Nebraska so my options to watch games are very limited. I try to stay up to date on kings herald, but it’s pretty obvious the little amount I see that this team ain’t going anywhere. No chance the way it’s constructed. I miss the beam team season (sigh). Thunder are really good, but this is wild. Thought the line up of Sabonis, DDR, Murray, Laravia, Ellis looked most cohesive.
Brown was really the one who starting tinkering with the record-setting offense. After the playoffs season he made changes saying the team was going to not play as fast and focus more on defense. That was a huge red flag for me at the time.
Yeah I remember that. Didn’t really get why they couldn’t keep that fast paced identity and work on defense too. It was a sign of things to come looking back. This years kings make up makes no sense to me. Seems to be no vision or path on identity of what they wanna be. Also taking on massive contracts and getting older while hoping to make the play in doesn’t seem to be a recipe for sustained success
It was jordi leaving that caused that. Brown is known and was on record to delegate offensive scheme he was more defensively minded. I think when Fernandez left there was no one with that offensive vision.
Watch the nets this year even with limited pieces and that offense flows a lot like the beam team did.
Doug McDermott payback game! Amirite?
LaVine driving to the basket only to make terrible passes is so frustrating. He does this way too much.
It’s like he is afraid to shoot or something.
I don’t know if when he was out a few games ago for personal reasons it’s still affecting him, but man he has just not looked right lately.
He’s not good when having to create his own offense. Most of his better games here and when he was lighting it up early this season with the bulls it was catch and shoot and off the pass with minimal dribbles.
it blows my mind that a shooter that thrives on a lot of spacing drives into double teams and then picks up his dribble. Like wtf. Then he pressure passes out of the trap. Like at that point just drive to the basket. Which he did really really well and has the athleticism for.
I walked away from the game for 5 minutes!
And the open 3s continue.
Its like watching a bad B movie. Its so bad that you cant look away.
A Mystery Science Theater episode for sure.
Damn OKC is a well oiled machine
SGA is hitting this level of shooting creation and efficiency that I’ve only ever seen Curry and prime Harden achieve. It’s getting to the point where everything he shoots, I’m expecting it to go in. Any angle or tempo he likes, it’s going in.
DC is falling into the same trap of trying to outscore opponents. First figure out how to protect your own goal.
You can’t hide 3+ bad defenders against this team.
They’ll get it within ten and lose by 15-20.
Live and die by the 3. Competitive loss incoming?
Look at that! Defense leads to open transition 3s. What a novel concept. Keep feeding Keegan and Keon.
Great Keegan game
very nice quarter. Playing good D on SGA (who is trying to do too much). And Ellis and Keegan are playing great on both ends.
Solid effort in that quarter. Feed the hot hands
Did Domas play entire 3rd? He needs to rest but then the iso game takes over
I think he did.
39-25 quarter. One more like that would be nice. Gotta be Keegan’s best game of the year.
WAIT, IT’S A TNT GAME AND I’M JUST TUNING IN?
I’ll wear the L.
Fultz comes in and immediately makes an impact. Not in a good way unfortunately.
Make sure to stop feeding Keegan.
Wow all starters clocking in 31-33 mins
Kings literally can’t score against OKC when it’s 5 on 4.
Ok folks somewhat competitive loss. Stealth tank to 11th continues to roll
I mean, the 3rd quarter was competitive. The other ones were complete OKC ownership of the Kings.
I did enjoy watching Keegan, Keon, and Jake play hard defense.
Kings’ roster imbalance being called out in TNT. A little different from what we’d be hearing from Kayte at this point.
What TNT doesn’t understand is…
“They just need time to integrate all the new players. It’s not an easy thing to do”
-Kayte
“Listen, this team defeated Cleveland…”
Listen, the Kings have had a tough schedule and OKC got hot.
All aboard the Vivek Express! Chooo chooo! Chuga chuga chooo chooo!
Great to see Keegs getting in that flow again, Keon is amazing to watch every night, wish we could inject Jake’s effort and hustle into everyone on the team
