I’m counting down to the trade deadline. Monte wanted to get rid of him before, and now that he’s signaled he’s looking to sign elsewhere, it’s time to finally oull the trigger.
Let someone else be fooled into thinking they can fix him.
What the heck? Fox walked off the floor without hugging any Pistons players while laughing and smiling like he does after most losses? Is he not feeling joy?
disturbed, I got to go to the game, but in the end, this came down to poor shot clock execution when they should’ve used every second of the clock when the ball was in their possession, if the players can’t play at the end of ultimately comes down to the coaches for not picking players that can close it out
When I was home in Sac for the holidays, my Dad and I were debating whether to go to the Pacers game or Pistons one today. We saw the Pacers, and while that game sucked because of the blowout, I think I would’ve been more upset if I had gone to this game.
Time and score is so vital. At worst, this game should of went to OT. Late game execution comes down to coaching. Im done with Mike Brown. I’m done watching the Kings until they make a trade. Anyone else have a gut feeling something dumb was going to happen? I thought it would be Huerter…but nah, Fox. Then to grab him?? Lol…it’s like he wants to lose on purpose. Beyond stupid basketball. Incompetent and lazy.
Absolutely not. Late game EXECUTION comes down to the players on the floor, period. Coaches makes substitutions and call plays and call timeouts, that’s about it.
Again, I can tell how many of you have never played anything beyond church league ball. Time and score is coaching. It comes from repetition in practice. This team free lances too much and expect talent to carry them. Doesn’t work guys. Simple basketball. Brown has no pulse of this team anymore. They have given up on him and each other. You don’t lose games like this and every other close game the past 3 weeks if connected. (Lakers, Nuggets, Nets, Hawks, etc)
Lmao you pretty funny, sir or ma’am. You must not have seen Mike Brown’s post-game. He told them EXACTLY what to do in the timeout and what he told them was right. He said stick to your man like glue, do not play help D, do not close out, do not allow a 3, if they get a 2 it’s fine, just don’t foul. And then Fox played off his man and tried to close out and ended up fouling — EXACTLY what MB told them not to do. He told them press the pace the last 6 minutes and don’t let up, and they did the exact opposite. It was the PLAYERS who failed to execute.
Decided to turn on for last 10 minutes and it looked 99.9% over up 8 with like 1:30 left or something. Why is Trey Lyles in game throwing up brick 3s as always, epic choke, pathetic foul, as bad of a loss as I’ve ever seen from any team. Giving away a practicly unloseable game, all-time Kangz moment…cue the puke on floor
42 days until the trade deadline…hopefully we have a lot more draft picks in hand by then to start the rebuild around Sabonis, Murray, Ellis and Carter (we might as well see what Carter can bring if his shoulder works now since he’s on the rookie contract and is reasonably cheap).
Mike Brown might just get fired for not having his team foul to put them on the line for two points. Play the fouling game and you very likely win. Fox’s foul was really dumb, but they should have got the back back after two free throws by Detroit and then burned some seconds off the clock and THEY go to the line for two as Detroit would once again have to foul.

If we lose to the Pistons we have hit a new low.
You’re not gonna believe this…
Keegan with the slam!
Nice seeing a power forward play at the rim.
Showing some signs of life early.
Keon sighting. Let’s see when’s his next DNP CD or garbage time
If Brown is going to insist on playing Isaac Jones, he should at least be doing his best to not have him on Cunningham.
If Fox scores 15 or less but has ten or more assists we win.
If he stuffs his stats and plays hero ball we lose.
Fox is looking great so far :/
He is letting four other people score.
That is called leading an offense.
Keon and Huerter are killing it when Fox plays team ball.
Fox has the 5 FG attempts (0 made), leading the team after the 1st quarter, and 1 assist.
That’s letting four other people score and leading an offense with 1 assist?
….until he started shooting.
There was a solid four minutes when he did not shoot.
JFC Jones was pushed WITH TWO HANDS out of bounds right in front of a ref.
Huerter just gets cooked defensively. Just getting blown by easily
Jones looking like Mikki Moore out there.
Cunningham owns Fox.
Fox needs to stop shooting the ball.
Fox getting Llyes going. This is good
Smart for the first time.
Lyles having his best game of the season. By far.
Finally looks to have some energy on the court.
Bench Fox. It will lock in the win.
I’m counting down to the trade deadline. Monte wanted to get rid of him before, and now that he’s signaled he’s looking to sign elsewhere, it’s time to finally oull the trigger.
Let someone else be fooled into thinking they can fix him.
And then Fox goes for 14 in the 3rd.
And the lead shrinks.
So Huerter had a better view than the ref who was just as close and watched the freaking ball go out of bounds?
They both willingly took on Bagley.
Pistons gave Bagley like a $30 million 3 year deal didn’t they?
Don’t know the details but he does have a contract today because the Pistons gave him a new deal.
Kayte says the Pistons are “starting to see the fruits” of all their early first round picks in recent years. Dude, Kayte, the Pistons are terrible.
Over the history of the team they draft better than the Kings.
Really? https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/DET/draft.html
They’ve won 4 of their last 6, with wins over the Knicks, Heat, Suns and L****s
Is Fox still “leading” the offense?
Nope.
He is actively trying to hand Cunningham a win.
So if you told me no Sabonis and Fox with 1 point at the half that Kings would be leading by 12, I’d have slapped you.
Lyles is playing basketball. That helps.
What if they were leading by 15?
I tried to edit that. By 15, slap you and insult your mother.
This is the kind of game I’d suspect Lyles would have against the Kings after a trade.
Halftime lead means the collapse is inevitable.
OK, Nostradamus.
Never a doubt.
Hitting their 3s tonight. That always helps.
Pistons 3pt defense is from Mike Brown
Why does Colby Jones get minutes? Is he blackmailing Brown?
Fox has to get to 25. Going to shoot the Pistons to within reach.
Kangz showing up in the 4th
They were there in the third too.
Why shoot 3s when up double digit
Why not? It is what we do.
Wow, Keegan gonna let Cade back him down like that?
Timid Keegan. Unfortunately it seems unfixable.
It’s time to pull the trigger and do a proper rebuild.
Fox is lucky
Kings out scored in third and fourth quarter. Same quarters Fox “went off”.
The biggest issue this franchise has had is trying to make Fox the “franchise star”. When he’s much better suited as a 2nd or 3rd option.
All out acts of desperation to beat the Pistons.
They have the same record as the Kings. Lol
Sad
That’s what happens when you have two similarly matched teams.
Fox has his 25 and only four assists.
GTFO of his way Beasley. JFC.
Hahahahahaha. Good Lord.
Clutch foul by Fox.
Beasley made a real clutch shot and he can play defense.
Fox grabbed him with both hands right before the shot Kayte
Took a couple replays too many before she noticed
Kangz. Blow it up
Absolutely the most Kangziest way to lose that game. Jesus Christ.
It wasn’t Kangz, the team simply played to their normal level.
I called it Fox goes for 25 plus and less than five assists and we lose.
He needs to go.
What the heck? Fox walked off the floor without hugging any Pistons players while laughing and smiling like he does after most losses? Is he not feeling joy?
He was embarrassed tonight.
Can’t be too mad. Just like the rest of this home stretch, they simply lost to the superior team.
Fox is going to talk about joy and looking for it.
Predictably Kangzy.
Kangz outscored by 15 in the 4th.

Disagree. These are pros not high school sophomores. It’s on them as pros to be motivated and have their heads in the game
A point guard that can run a half court offense to maintain possession of the ball and burn clock when a lead is slipping is pretty cool.
Well there’s your latest worst loss of the season.
When I was home in Sac for the holidays, my Dad and I were debating whether to go to the Pacers game or Pistons one today. We saw the Pacers, and while that game sucked because of the blowout, I think I would’ve been more upset if I had gone to this game.
Fox should try to form a relationship with his team to eliminate basic communication problems on the floor. They have no reason to be this bad.
Fox making clutch fouls has nothing to do with any coach.
It actually does. A disciplined team doesn’t commit a foul like that. Disciplined basketball comes from coaching.
No. Discipline comes from within the PROFESSIONAL athlete.
It’s a team sport. No it doesn’t
Absolutely not. Late game EXECUTION comes down to the players on the floor, period. Coaches makes substitutions and call plays and call timeouts, that’s about it.

Appreciate you calling everyone out and declaring your basketball mastery.
Thanks for confirming
You are wrong sir. I never played church league basketball.
Lmao you pretty funny, sir or ma’am. You must not have seen Mike Brown’s post-game. He told them EXACTLY what to do in the timeout and what he told them was right. There are 35 NBA point guards that can close out a game without any help from a coach with a ten point lead in the last two minutes.
Reminds me of the game when Paul George hit a 3 and a foul free throw to beat the Kings.
Brown is tired of Fox’s trash play. I love it.
Brown is being pretty hard on Fox in the post-game presser.
Rightfully so.
Call his crap play out.
I agree.
The Kings lost??? I checked on this game with 4 minutes left in the 3rd and thought the Kings were going to win in a walk. Really, they lost???
Fox definitely had a momentary lapse of reason. It’s almost as if this is the
way he’s forcing the Kings
hand.
Doesn’t matter the whole team
mailed in in the 4th Qtr.
No discipline, Poor BbIq, and apathetic quarter after quarter ad nauseum.
They deserved to lose.
Kings have so many issues. From the owner, front office, coaching, a poorly built roster, and here comes all
that Kangz drama again.
Where do you even start to fix this franchise.’
Before anything else,’First thing, Vivek should do. Pick up the phone and call his buddy Bob Myers.
This team no longer needs tweaks. It needs a straight up rebuild.
Top to bottom.
Decided to turn on for last 10 minutes and it looked 99.9% over up 8 with like 1:30 left or something. Why is Trey Lyles in game throwing up brick 3s as always, epic choke, pathetic foul, as bad of a loss as I’ve ever seen from any team. Wow, Fox’s post-game presser was absolutely terrible. He was asked what the Kings need to do and his answer was “I don’t know.”
Has no desire to step up and own anything with this team. Just wants his max deal.
I need to start caring as little as Fox does.
42 days until the trade deadline…hopefully we have a lot more draft picks in hand by then to start the rebuild around Sabonis, Murray, Ellis and Carter (we might as well see what Carter can bring if his shoulder works now since he’s on the rookie contract and is reasonably cheap).
