Maybe the Rich Paul/Monte conversation was about firing Brown, and somehow hoe Brown got wind of it.
Gotta say that the longer this goes on, the more it forces the front office to wake up from their coma and get aggressive about either upgrading or rebuilding.
Fox has put the team on notice, and they’re hopeless as constructed. The front office has had four years to dick around and not do much outside of getting Sabonis and Monk. Those were very good moves, but their time of not doing anything else that matters is pretty much at an end.
Running it back every year has failed. Be aggressive with moving your top players or rebuild.
I mean, if this keeps going into January, Brown won’t make it to the trade deadline, right?

If Vivek has such a big problem firing Brown than just trade Fox, Monk and everyone else but Keegan, Keon, Carter and maybe Sabonis. Someone has to command the tank and it might as well be the guy losing games anyway. Let MB coach til the end of the season or for the next 2 years of tanking.

Outscored 70-43 in the second half. I didn’t watch the game, but that looks like a score from a team that has quit. Did it look as bad as the box score would indicate?

Yeah, it looked bad. When the crowd is booing you with nearly 10 minutes to go, you know it looks bad.

I’ll put it this way, Huerter and Dermott played about an 8-10 minute on the court together, taking turns on who would be the one to get destroyed defensively.
