Everything going as expected – slow start, close game. I honestly think we have more talent than that other team but we insist on playing up/down to the competition on nearly every night.
I like a lot of what Monk brings to the offense, but there is zero reason to make a behind the back bounce pass to the corner on the fast break. Just make the smart/easy pass and get the points.
I think the team has imoroved by starting Monk. But mostly because that means Not starting Huerter. Would be even better starting Keon, which has been pretty obvious since the start of the year.
I got to stop staying up late to watch them blow games. They are legitimately a bad team. Horrendous roster. I would be fine from moving on from half the roster.
I really think it’s DRoz’s fit. He slows the offense in transition, he stops up offball movement with his ISO in the halfcourt, he cant hit a spray 3 off an advantage created by someone else, and theres nowhere to hide him defensively. He needs to either be moved to the bench to run the second unit or traded. This team was better with HB who is a lesser player but superior fit. We need Cam Johnson like we need air.
I was just posting the same. Watching a perpetual loser franchise play pathetic basketball game after game is taking a toll on me. And for no good reason at all. I don’t know the players. It’s a little more than a dozen men who wear my city’s name on their jersey and disappoint me night after night.
I’m inclined to keep Keon and Keegan. Everyone else can go. Burn it down and start building your next .460-peak team. At least then I can make believe there’s some imaginary player around the corner who will lead them to +.500
blow it up already. Brown has got to go also. He let reddick completely out coach him. La had basic horns set out of time out plays for layup after layup. This team just doesn’t have it
Honestly, last year’s team was better than this year’s team. And the team the year before was better than last year. Monte has systematically made the team worse and worse each year.
Sabonis doesn’t play defense at all. He doesn’t jump. He just puts 1 arm up, stands still and calls it a day. He is so bad on defense that guards need to help crash the lane, which leaves open threes. It’s pretty hard to win a game when they keep letting opponents score at will like that. They need someone in the worst way possible to complement Sabonis on D and then sit in a corner shooting threes on offense. I would have loved to see McNair go after someone like Mo Bamba…some low cost band-aid that helps Sabonis out – but nope. He had options to trade of Huerter in the off-season, but nope, he hangs onto his glut of shooting guards. A trade HAS to be made before the trade deadline, and sadly, I don’t even think Huerter is salvageable. It might take one of Keon or Monk to get who we need as a PF/C to completement Sabonis – and I doubt McNair makes that move. I’m fully expecting another nothing-burger by the trade deadline.
Lakers came out and dictated pace of play. I have to agree DDR is just a terrible fit. A ball stopper. He’s a stat filler., Since he can’t space the floor and he’s poor defensively. He game is predicated on ISo and not much more.
Not sure what they can do in the trade market. Huerter is a GDamn sieve on D. Almost hilarious to watch. He took a few shots tonite and hit them. But i really don’t see many teams lining up for his 18 mil. He’s really a one dimensional spot shooter at this point.
Everyone is hyping Cam. Only thing is about 6-7 other teams have the same idea.
Kings have no young assets to move. Other than Ellis and Keegan.
Nets are going to be looking for a good young asset and a first rounder.
Finney Smith is a possibility. He really won’t add much offensively. But he will definitely help wing defense.
Unless Kings want to move Keegan. They are looking at trading for a bench piece.
For the record Keegan has been god awful all season. Sure he’s decent defensively. But if that’s your starting 4, you’re in big trouble.

another slow start for this starting 5
They’re all waiting for the Kings to be a playoff contender.
Keeeegan Muuuurray!
It’s like Groundhog’s Day with this team every game.
I am ready to burn this team to the ground and start over.
Sounds like four first rounders for
Fox, Houston trades Sheppard, Whitmore, Smith and Brooks.’
Why do Kayte and Mark sound like they are in a tin can? Anyone else getting weird audio?
Yeah, although once it hit 12-2, I dropped my audio to virtually nothing so I could focus on work.
Fox is sleep walking
the starting unit spotted the Lakers 8. down 9 after 1.
I guess this is Len’s night? Who knows…
LOL, Bill Kennedy .
reaaallly bad call against Sabonis

It’s the same game night after night. They’ll stay competitive until the last 3 minutes and then melt down and lose by 6.
Fox and the Kings manage games like a Kafkasque story arc
And I watch them like f’ing Charlie Brown, thinking one day maybe we’ll kick the goddamn football.
same here. when are they going to change their habits this year of slow starts and bad late game execution
This Lakers team is not good outside of AD and losing to them on the home floor is unacceptable.
DeRozan ISO ball just isn’t going to cut it. The offense goes into geriatric mode when he gets the ball within the 3pt line.
it’s nice to sprinkle in to the offense, and if he gets hot he can rattle off 10-15 straight points.
Monk would drive into a wall if it had a jersey painted on it.
Absolutely atrocious final possession to end the 3rd

Isaac Jones in the game
I’m Woodstock
Isaac tied up Lebron, one-on-one
Good thing Brown took him out.
Fox. Just get in the paint and keep putting pressure on the refs. Bonus
if Isaac is good enough to be a regular rotation player, the team should sign him, elevate him to a rostered player and cut someone else.
A long, boring Chelsea Gray 4th quarter take right in the middle of exciting play.
WTAF did Brown take out Jones?
sloppy Joe turnovers
Why do they suck so bad at home? Its been true every year under MB even the Beam Team was worse at home.
Huerter is so damn scared to take shots. He would rather throw passes into heavy traffic
DRoz does not play Kings basketball. He’ll get the ball while the defense is in transition or in rotation and hold it so he can ISO it really sucks.
Out of all the f-ing responses you see from LBJ all game and Sabonis gets a T for that?
The Lakers refs are way better than the kings refs. Kings need to do better.
remember the elbow to the chest Jokic did on Sabonis last game and it was a no-call?
The fact they are losing this game is just beyond terrible. Just absolutely asinine.

might be better starting Isaac at the 4 and Keegan at the 3.
If Isaac could hit a corner 3 id definitely agree. Since he can’t its close. But what’s gonna happen? Are we gonna start losing basketball games?
he can make it. probably not a quick release.
another possibility is to start Huerter at the 3 and Keegan at the 4. not too different from your idea with Cam Johnson.

need a closer examination of this lineup with Fox, Monk and DeRozan playing together.
Gonna fall to 6-9 at home with the loss tonight.
Jones has played 4 minutes and he looked great. Nice job Brown.
One can only imagine what players around the league say about the Kings privately, complete contempt.
