Looking at the landscape so far, I see no reason the Kings can’t finish as the two seed. Minnesota might be for real, but they’ll no doubt have some injuries and rough patches.
I don’t believe in Dallas defense or depth holding up for a season. Old stars in GS, LA and PHX showing some wear and tear. Youth in OKC, SA, HOU still growing. Pelicans are beatable and injury prone.
Why not the Kings? Everyone’s in their prime and play 65+ games consistently. They’ve had some time to gel and add wrinkles to their system. New faces to the rotation have shown some flashes. Fox and Ox are All-NBA candidates again.
With no new addition I see no reason we can’t be better than anyone except Denver. And if we get a guy like Pascal and jump into the top half of defense, we’d be bonafide contenders.
Sitting in a restaurant with the ESPN and NBC Sports broadcasts on side by side TVs. ESPN is objectively better view. They are more zoomed in on the court. If anyone from NBC is listening, we don’t need to see that wide of a shot of the stands.
I gotta say, some of these defensive sequences I saw by Keegan was the best defense I’ve seen by a Kings player in a long long time. The dude is a legit 2-way player.
Kayte keeps calling it out, too, but I’m still blown away by the transformation in one offseason. There were so many times last year when Murray’s opponent could just blow by him and I would think his ceiling on defense was just meh. Not now. It’s having an effect on the entire team. They’re playing defense like it matters. They haven’t approached looking this good on D since Mike Malone was coaching the team.
I think I caught Velvet and Fox mean muggin the crowd after their threes.

Love the commentators going on and on about how the Lakers starting slow and coming back is “what they do.” I want this game to become a blowout so bad.
Coach Rivers saying on the Murray foul… “It’s a foul because he’s in the restricted circle”… On replay he’s not even close to the circle and he sounds like an idiot now.
Remember when Reddish was just trade filler in a few trades over the past 2 years. It seems he’s carved out a role on the Lakers by focusing on defense. Good for him.

Can’t wait to be up by 10 at halftime and barely be mentioned before the LeBron highlights
Up 10 before when?
You called it. Rec’d
Second game in a row Fox has stolen the tip and scored.
They should replace the Lakers bench with wheelchairs.
Fox ain’t playing! Bucket and one in the opening seconds!
Hello, Harrison Barnes.
Fox with two early off dribble transition 3s that I didn’t like and felt wasted a possession
Wow, good to see HB hit a couple of threes.
Fox cooling off ☹️
He was on pace for 2,880 points

Wow, Fox speed down the court and kick to Kevin. Ankle looks good
This is like watching violent crime against seniors.
AD not getting up and down well. Definitely playing through injury.
I forgot something, Fuck the Lakers.
My screen name in the Royalty days was luckthefakers
Didn’t the Lakers drink their Ensure before the game?
LeBron on the bench, asking when the game is gonna start. Anthony Davis too busy doing Wordle to answer.
I get giddy with anticipation when I see Sasha check in
Here we go with calls for the fakers
The massive celebration down 13 at the end of the 1st lmaoooooooo
Makes me want to mail Prince a participation trophy.
The last three commercials in a row have been geared toward seniors.
Good quarter. Now take foot and apply firmly to throat.
Very late whistle for LeFlop after the ref saw he missed the shot. Right on cue
Duarte comes in and immediately fouls…wtf
They turned on the “keep it close” setting.
Kings turn the ball over and then get three straight steals in a row?
Lakers tired already.
Flagrant 1
His hand wasn’t even close to where the ball was, haha. Hayes is a perfect Faker
Well that’s the standard… Every time Davis goes goes to the hoop just punch him in the face…. It will probably affect his game. Common foul.
Fox needs to keep shooting those all night.
All night long.
Fox has gotten several buckets around AD tonight. Truly one of the elite finishers in the league.
LOL Lakers fans starting to boo.
This offense creates a preposterous amount of wide open C&S threes
LeFlop bear hugging Fox to get the ball and they’re calling it a foul, good ol’ ref ball
Horse shit call on Fox. Typical Laker call by the NBA.
Shove fox and no call. Typical
Lebron bail out call…
That was the most B.S. Lakers call to close the half.
On a side note, my god their crowd is dead. Are they all sedated?
Does anybody know why Vlade hangs around the Kings and Vivek all the time?
LA starters playing a lot of minutes after playing last night. Run these chumps.

That’s 4 free points given to LA from the refs… No foul on Sabonis and then a no call goal tend.
They’ve swallowed their whistles on the Lakers. I saw a missed call on Fox then a couple hacks at Sabonis.
Leflop just pushing people and no calls. It’s so obvious
Lakers looks tired old and slow. Kings should seal this one.
Kevin looking good! That wristy ass shot came right
Big Huert with his eye in tonight
FUK after being at G1C the other night, the difference in crowd enthusiasm is startling.
Davis, other than tripping players or pushing them to the floor or goaltending, looks like hot garbage. He must be hurt again.
He looks out of shape. Can’t play back to back games, ha
I wonder how much he’s making money wise just for this game?
The Kings have been playing some solid defense the last three games. Uh oh.
Get ready for Fakers run aided by the refs.
Kings need to put their foot on the Lakers throats now.
Are the LA “fans” walking out yet?
Heat check Huerter!
GG. This game was not competitive.
How is that a foul on Keegan?
No way. Outside the restricted area and took a high knee in the chest. Surprised it wasn’t challenged
Coach Rivers saying on the Murray foul… “It’s a foul because he’s in the restricted circle”… On replay he’s not even close to the circle and he sounds like an idiot now.
Rivers is typically pretty good, tonight he has contracted lakeritis. I turned on the G-Man.
Same
Draymond groomed Hayes
Keegan got hit in the midsection, went down hard and left the game. Now JaVale has seemingly tweaked his ankle or something.
If you can’t beat ’em, hurt ’em.
McGee looked good on that dunk!
How the f is that a blocking foul. Was it on another Kings player besides Keegan.
Time for Darvin to play their pocket lint.
I’m expecting Beam chants to start at the 8 min mark. Make it happen Kings!
Spoke too soon.
Back within 20!

What is Alex Len’s status, has there been an update?
You mean Lyles? Is Len hurt?
Len twisted his ankle in recent game. It’s a high ankle sprain. Level 2 according to Len talking to Geroud.
I didn’t even know… That’s a bad sprain and I’m a bad fan.
Red, has 7 assists, a few rebounds, a steal and zero turnovers to go along with his splash.
G Man just updated the radio audience and Len told him it might be a couple of weeks and he was in a walking boot at the shoot around.
Move the ball, protect the ball. Don’t get sloppy
Come on guys….don’t let the Fakers crawl back in this game.
LeBron complains and then starts getting calls. Shit is ridiculous
Put he ball in Fox’s hands now. Every possession.
I guess Huerter didn’t make it onto the Lakers scouting report.
I guess 3 seconds doesn’t apply to AD
Barnes stole Bron’s bread (corn)
For maximum schadenfreude, the Lakers radio crew is the best listen.
So much hope. LOL
Light The Beam.
And the fans rush to the exits.
Kings running around on cruise control. D’Angelo always does pretty good against us.
In with the pocket lint
Quote from the ESPN game guy. “You have to give the King’s some credit too” ….. lol What?
The announcers were pretty bad all night.
Cultlike thinking.
Fox saying he’s playing hurt… lol.
Nothing feels better than curb stomping the Lakers on national TV. I don’t want this feeling to end.
Teams aren’t ready for Kings speed and pace. Lakers were gassed in the 2nd quarter.
I have to say, I really enjoy watching the Kings beat the Lakers!! Kings have been looking rather good lately!
I only wish they had kept it above a 20 point difference, but this win is noice!
