Two wins against badly depleted teams has gotten a lot of us feeling perhaps a little bit too good. I just don’t think I can buy it yet.
Im worried we’re going to allow ourselves to be fooled into thinking that we can salvage this season. That we do something like trade multiple firsts for Cam Johnson to take us from #12 to a first round exit. I dont know if its worth the long term sacrifice.
We could easily sell Fox for a Jabari Smith or a Stephon Castle and a few picks and boot up the tank, maybe luck our way into a top 5 pick in a loaded draft. See what Keegan, Carter, a bunch of young prospects, and picks do for our future. But instead I fear we’re just gonna get caught in the middle of the road between tanking and competing like we always do – aka Basketball Hell.
Oh well. What else can I do but storm Normandy with nothing but Doug Christie and a prayer?
Devin Carter is introduced to raucous applause and then immediately told to sit down for a timeout as everyone in the crowd just falls into awkward, anticlimactic silence
Huerter with a nasty transition bounce pass to Lyles for the easy flush. The best version of KH is an absolutely essential piece to this team. Sucks we don’t see him very often.
Still leaving the weak side 3pt shooter wide open. Wells is on fire and he just got a wide open 3. Maybe stuck closer to him and help from a different spot.
Yup. Insists on doing it himself in crunch time, never just makes the right play. I remember that one game (v. LAC?) last season when Fox drove into 3-4 defenders and left a wide open Keon standing in the corner and missed the would be game winner.
Good shit Kings! Pretty awesome Carter’s Dad got to witness his first game. Happy for that Sac kid on Mem as well. He balled out in front of his family and friends. Fun game, go Kings!

Go Kings!
Get to the paint Fox.
Ideally Carter can quickly replace Fox as the point guard.
Good ball movement generating open 3s. 5/10 so far in the 1st. Keep moving the ball!
Carter sighting in the 1st

Carter being extremely disruptive defensively – as advertised. On offense he looks like a rookie that hasn’t played basketball for a long time.
Already a couple of rebounds from Carter. Keep that up rook!
Want to see fox/carter/Ellis lineup at some point. Some disruptive defenders
I’ll take a couple more offensive quarters like that one.
Huerter picking up where he left off last game. Bricking
Let’s go Kevin. Gotta showcase some good games to make Monte’s trade life easier
Sabonis’ 3pt shot needs to be respected. Wonder what’s gonna happen once teams finally start closing out on him.
Need to tighten up the defense in the 2nd half. 72 points is not good.
seems like the Grizz shot a lot of threes over Fox and Monk
So they’ve always been able to push the pace like this? Where the hell has this been the rest of the season?
And brown was preaching pace alot. Something wasn’t right with that chemistry.
The ball is also moving on offense a lot more. Fewer Monk\Fox\DRoz isos. Idk what the hell Doug has changed but it’s working.
No MB vs Keon. Woo hoo
Keon with the somewhat stupid fouls, then makes up for it with some stellar steals.
DC trusted Ellis. Ellis came through. Yeah!!!
Fox is prioritizing ball movement over scoring and forcing the defense to actually defend the entire team.
not a good challenge not a bad time out
Look for Lyles hot hands
Derozan has such a flat 3pt shot.
Still leaving the weak side 3pt shooter wide open. Wells is on fire and he just got a wide open 3. Maybe stuck closer to him and help from a different spot.
Dying again by the 3?
Tough to win when Fox shoots like this. 0-6 from three. 5-17 from field.
He needs to get back to the paint like the last 2 games.
Keep on chuckin!
Tyler fucking Ford at it again
Fox just has to score. He cannot simply win. Must stuff the stats.

10 assists and 12 points and this team wins over 60% of the games.
Ellis needs to practice throwing alley oops. He has missed 3 tonight.
Handles and offensive playmaking isn’t his strong suit
Nope. Rudimentary skills for him. Just play defense, make the basic pass, and knock down open 3s. Keep it simple.
More minutes might help.
Not surprising. He plays defense and shoots when wide open.
Keon Ellis, for all he does well, is terrible in fast break situations with the ball in his hands.
Fox shooting poorly, blaming the officials and committing a really dumb flagrant.
dangerous flagrant
Might need DeMar iso to win
Lyles has played 9 minutes so far. Is that correct?
22
Weird, both fanduel and yahoo have him at 9. I thought that was wrong. Thanks Eddie
Sabonis needs to start wearing goggles
Malik Monk is this team’s identity. He goes as the Kings go.
It’s winning time.
If only fat Luka did not crash down into Monk last year
it was an accident. Luka apologized immediately
For being fat?
LOL
Lost challenge hurt there and there
Good time out DC
What a flop by JJJr.
Still a dumb foul
It wasn’t a foul.
Clearly was
WTF even was that?
Jackson Jr. is a b_$#@
That was a bitch move by JJJ.
Wow Deebo
Turn back the clock!!!
Take that Huff!
Hot take: When Keegan returns, he should come off the bench.
We don’t win pretty but that is better than losing stupid.
Vivek wants to be included so badly, but nobody likes him. Just sit back and let the players enjoy their victory.
