2020 Kings Herald Draft Board: Pick No. 8

Isaac Okoro is off the board. Who will be next?
By | 8 Comments | Nov 10, 2020

With 36.4% of the vote, Isaac Okoro is off the board.  He joins Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman, Deni Avdija, Killian Hayes, Tyrese Haliburton and LaMelo Ball.

When a choice comes up, pick who you’d want the Kings to pick given all the players remaining.  Note: THIS IS NOT A MOCK DRAFT. This is a draft board, a ranked list of prospects you’d like to see the Kings pick. In other words, if we were the Kings front office, when our pick came up, we’d take the top name left on our board. So pick your choice, not who you think Monte McNair or anyone else would choose in a slot.

Explain your choice in the comments, and lobby for who should be added to the next pick’s choices.

Bout time!

Onyeka Okongwu gets my next vote – I’d love for this team to finally have a new age, switchable defensive anchor – but I expect Devin Vassell will win, and I won’t be upset with it.

Went for Obi this time. Defense be damned, this guy is built & ready to score and rebound on day 1.

Okongwu. IMO, he is clearly the BPA. He may not be the ideal fit to this roster as he is a paint oriented big man, but oh well. I kind of see him potentially as more of a rim protecting Richaun Holmes.

Once again, Nesmith’s combo of shooting & defensive potential makes him my choice.
