Following Friday’s electric win over the Utah Jazz, Kings head coach Mike Brown (who returned to the sideline after clearing Health and Safety Protocols) discussed the game with assembled media. Brown lauded the fans in Sacramento, saying you could mistake a regular season game for a playoff game in terms of the atmosphere in Golden 1 Center.
You can watch his who press conference here:
Domantas Sabonis spoke with the media after Brown. He opened his remarks by praising the fans and the atmosphere. He also spoke about how this team doesn’t give up and continues to fight even through setbacks.
Kevin Huerter also spoke with the media after notching a career-high 30 points. He talked about the huge game-winning shot, and the reaction from the fans. He also credited Domantas Sabonis as having been in his ear to keep shooting even after misses. On Sabonis, Huerter praised the Kings center, “he has a broken thumb and he didn’t miss a shot.”

The bit where Huerter talked about being allergic to 30 was pretty funny. Hoping for many more 30-pieces for him in a Kings uni.
Happy New Year all!
