Sacramento Kings point guard Cory Joseph and his family donated thousands of meals to help feed children across Canada, according to a release from the team. The meals will specifically go to schoolchildren impacted by COVID-19.
The Kings released the following statement from Joseph:
With the platform I have, I feel it is my responsibility to help those in need, especially the children back home that are most vulnerable to the conditions of poverty, said Joseph. Growing up in the Toronto area I saw those realities, so I hold a special place in my heart for this next generation. I am very humbled to support these kids with greater food security through Isthmus during this pandemic so they can live healthy lives and go on to achieve their dreams.
As we’d previously written about, Joseph joined with his Kings teammates to provide meals to Sacramento-area schoolchildren and families, and Joseph also donated masks and protective gear to medical workers.
It’s fantastic to see that Joseph is stepping up on a regular basis to help both the Sacramento community and communities in his home country.
You’re awesome, Cory
Love him.
Great guy!

Hire Garrett Temple to GM, Cory Joseph to coach. How much could it adversely impact the product on the court? It sure would put the “character matters” walk in the talk.
WE’RE NUMBER ONE! WE’RE NUMBER ONE!

The baby blue jerseys & 1 of the purple jerseys made the list of the top 74 jerseys (as did some pre-Sacramento jerseys), but I question some of the selections among the top 74 jerseys.

There’s no way to go but up from here so what the heck. Let’s do it.
Boy, that first half 2016-17 Kings squad has got to be my least favorite group of guys in terms of “character.”
Hey guys finally made it to KH! Glad I could get the same username
It wasn’t being used.
I see what you did there
Very cool, but also sad that in the wealthiest nation in history this kind of stuff is necessary.
Canada’s the wealthiest nation in history? 😉
Well, they do have the $3 coin co-designed by Martin Short.
oops.
