Been waiting for this one. Gonna be a great day at work. Thanks Jerry and TKH crew.
A pleasure to listen to. I always enjoy the show but it’s even better when the team is playing well.
“When Doug McDermott is playing more than Keon Ellis…well that’s just ridiculous!” LOL, I love Jerry.
Another good one ! Nice that Fox family took care of Tony in Boston with great tix . Liked the thoughts regards Carter and his potential .
Jerry sounds like he’s all aboard the Keon Ellis train and wants him having around 30 minutes per game, despite “hurt feelings” to other players. I can’t disagree with that.
Keon won’t be eligible for an extension until a little over a year from now. But even then, he is so egregiously underpaid that what we’d be able to offer him would leave him still underpaid. Does anyone know whether at the end of his contract next season will he be a restricted or unrestricted free agent?
UFA after next season, according to Spotrac.
Not the answer I was hoping for. Let’s hope Monte has a good relationship with Keon’s representatives!
Great stuff as usual. Thanks all for doing these
Balance the roster by trading Huerter for Isaiah Stewart? Stewart is a more defensive less offensive version of Lyles. Insurance for Lyles if/when he is injured. Stewart can also spell Domas a little at Center as well. Thoughts?
I would think that Detroit says no. They are clicking right now. Maybe they would have entertained the thought a few months ago, but not anymore.
A possibility with Ivy out for the season could use another guard . Monte must get more playable size as no depth at power positions .
