In attendance for my annual Kings-Wizards game tonight! Good showing of Kings fans. Hopefully we get a light the beam chant at the end! Cant wait to see Keon in person.
Nice.
Live in D.C.? I ask cuz I live in Charlottesville.
Yup! DC proper.
Go Kings!
The wizards person that announced their starting 5 was absolutely terrible.
Good to see Keegan’s first shot go down.
So that’s where Richaun Holmes ended up.
That makes me sad.
He and Bagley reunited
Very lackluster start to this one.
SEGABABA blues
Every point Kispert scores as an NBA player is an affront to god.
not able to watch today but 0-7 from 3..uh oh
might go the entire 1st without a single 3
Yeah, I see the score, but I have a feeling that this is going to end up something like last night.
Drama Kangz
Lots of missed threes, 50-50 balls going to the Wizards, just an unlucky start and the Kings are down by eight.
That Wizards three that bounced goofily around the rim before accidentally going in sums up that first quarter in one picture.
This is looking like it’s going to be one of those stinker games. Perfect game for this team to loose.
kings are getting thrashed
with most visibly fatigued on SEGABABA, I’d give more minutes to Davion. he should have a full tank of gas because he hasn’t played with Fox for a few games now.
Kings are going to have to grind it out against this team. The sample size isn’t promising.
even Patrick Baldwin looks relatively explosive against the Kings tonight
Domas has 1 shot in 11 minutes, primarily being guarded by Holmes. Terrible
double-double streak in jeopardy …
I love Holmes, but the Kings were terrible when he started and he was a terrible backup behind Sabonis.
give Kessler a lot of run tonight?
yeah, Kessler. he’s our guy tonight
The Wizards are doomed.
And slowly but surely, the tide turned.
It’s like the Wizards suddenly noticed the team name on their jerseys and said, “Oh yeah, we’re the Wizards.”
Haha!
Let’s go Kings!
Mike Brown suggested during a timeout that the Kings should try making some of their shots and it’s working well so far
Good minutes from Kessler
and right when the Kings need it
Kings started playing defense a quarter and a half too late, but better late than never.
Fox with five steals.
On the behalf of the entire world, I’d like to personally apologize for the Wizards halftime show.
gotta say, prior to tonight’s halftime show, I had never seen Lithuanian folk dance and had never heard Lithuanian folk music.
The Keon block on Bane that led to the Fox to Monk alley oop made the plays of the week.
dude, bring Kessler in before the Wizards get hot
I didn’t know that Holmes was a defensive stopper. Sabonis has no clue what to do against him down low
I’m 110% tired of the Kings playing like garbage against the worst teams in the league.
SEGABABA
Shouldn’t matter against a team with 11 wins, missing players.
who are they missing?
Coulibaly, Tyus Jones, and Bagley (for what he’s worth). They have a bunch of bench/g league talent playing and are working the kangz
whatever. I like Coulibaly as a prospect but not sure if he’s playing winning basketball yet. and when has Bagley ever played winning basketball.
I never said they were winning players. Just that they were shorthanded.
This fucking team. Just as aggravating as ever.
Since the all-star break, I am even more confused about what a foul is.
Domas has 4 shot attempts in 24 minutes. What’s up with that??
Yep. Fox is 5-21. Just plain stupid basketball.
5-25 from three. But keep jacking them, even when you steal the ball and it’s 2 on 3. Kings need a backup plan for when threes aren’t falling.
Kings are gonna lose this game. Zeronfight this quarter against the worst team in the league.
What an ugly, sloppy game.
So many smoked layups.
The defensive intensity has only appeared to end the second and third quarters.
I know the Kings have had a much better defense lately, but their offense has looked ugly
Five point game.
Wizards colder than a winter at Hogwarts.
Okay, that’s lame, but I am standing by it.
Let’s not forget that the Wizards themselves expect to lose this one.
Monk is going to will this win once again.
27 f^$$#ing shots for Fox and 9 for Sabonis? WTF?
I’m more upset that Keegan was cooking early and they totally went away from him until the second half
It’s not like Sabonis wasn’t getting plenty of touches in the paint, especially in the first half. Holmes played him the way Looney did in the playoffs last year—he didn’t go for Sabonis’ up-fakes. Sabonis would then pass out with little time left on the shot clock, and none of the Kings were hitting their threes.
Doesn’t Sabonis have plenty of experience playing against Holmes?
No way the Kings win this challenge
Why isn’t Keon in to help with the defense? Dude always seems to get a steal or deflection.
The Kings weekly scheduled loss rears its ugly head
Very clearly out on Holmes.
Welp. At least the Kings have prepared me for such disappointment.
This loss is partially on Fox. He’s attempted far too many shots and missed. Zero free throws because he jacking jumpers.
Keon has to shoot that 3
Fox is cold and just keeps jacking them shots up. Use your teammates dude.
Fox has same number of shot attempts as the rest of the starters combined.
At least 4 different plays where a Wizard just drove through a wide open lane uncontested to the basket. Defensive effort was generally atrocious tonight, and Keon wasn’t too special either. Duarte and Davion were solid fwiw.
This is the Fox I complained about relentlessly earlier this season. He deserves it again tonight. He’s out of his mind.
Horrible defense and a one dimensional offense makes for a Kings loss.
Better beat Dallas twice.
ugh.
I’m sorry but Chelsea Gray does not bring excitement. She’s too soft-spoken.
Absolutely pathetic performance.
I didn’t like the Keon minutes. Give him more consistent minutes.
Put a fork in this team – yes it was second night of b2b but you’re playing the worst team in the league missing players AND you’re fighting for the 6th slot to avoid the play-in. I think this team is so much more frustrating than the years where I was ecstatic to see 35 wins…at least then I knew what to expect. It’s one of those nights where I think it’s time to blow it up and rebuild around Keon, Keegan and Domas.
