Restricted to viewers with 75 miles of Sacramento. Thanks Kings. That F-ing stupid. But I get my 4th Lakers game!
I’m 13 miles outside of the restricted area.
At least you won’t get called for three seconds.
Looks like it’s available on League Pass. That’ll work. More convenient than streaming the website feed to some device and then casting it to my TV
Can confirm, the NBA League Pass feed from PHX is available for free.
Not where I am.
Sorry man…I’m in Roseville for what’s it worth to others.
PHX starting with their 2nd line from tip-off.
It’s live on YouTube (not YouTubeTV) here…weird.
Thanks for the heads up. Kings site is geo banning me even though I’m easily within 75 miles of Golden One
Now there’s a big box with the NBA logo blocking the picture. This is maddening.
Lol yeah I noticed. Can’t a guy just watch preseason basketball without all the hassle?
Not if it’s the Kangz. But every Lakers game is on national TV!
Lyles gets the start. I guess Keegan is a no-go
Murray and Holmes are out with an illness
That was horrible to watch. 1st qtr
Every year I try to watch on kings.com, and every year I’m reminded how absolutely awful the service is. Highly recommended if you’re into pages trying to load.
I have to keep reloading it. Ugh!
So kings.com/live works on my desktop but not my TV or my phone. Makes perfect sense.
Clearly Vivek has appointed another family member to operate the website.
For all of you complaining about not being able to watch the game. Be careful what you ask for.
It’s a preseason game, I could care less if I’m able to watch it or not
So you came to the game thread to explain that you have no interest in the game?
i mean I’ll watch it if it’s available but I’m not gonna bitch about not being able to see it, sir
I don’t know, I’m really into the refs making the show about them, and this game is a gold mine.
There’s a big lid on the rim
Kangz in mid-year form….crapping their pants against Suns 2nd unit.
Kings became interested in the last two minutes and closed it within 3.
The Suns 2nd unit starting against our 1st unit really tampered my hope. I am encouraged how we did not fold and closed out that first half. Now let’s get that 3 quarter monkey off our backs.
No Suns starters playing. Of the three preseason games, I think that this one should tell us the least.
Look who Monte found at the game!
They need to get Monte here for a Q&A. Given the beard game that is being shown here, they could call it “Chin Mail.”
Keegan rocks the GOATee.
Trey Lyles has lost so much weight that after reviewing the tape, the refs have downgraded him to Dos Lyles.
Sabonis looks leaner to me, too, but he’s got a new haircut, and frankly, I’m not all that observant.
Next year Uno Lyles
Terence Davis is looking like absolute money. I’m not certain at all that at some point, he won’t jump Monk in the guard rotation.
Looks to me more like he’s gonna play that backup SF role with Mitchell and Monk in the backcourt.
That works for me!
I can already tell that I’m going to hate Jock Fucking Londale.
Davis looking like a guy fighting for, and making a good case, a spot in the regular rotation.
Lord help us if Davion or Fox are hurt. Can we put Huerter in to see if he can be a primary ball handler, because Monk cannot handle the responsibility.
Quinn Cook making quite a case for himself.
Everybody gonna be runnin tomorrow
This is one of those games where TKH should skip writing a game summary.
Game Summary: it ended.
Game was ugly. Energy was not what the first two games brought. We saw a lot of the “old Fox”. Definitely seemed like the team wanted a night off rather than an “off night”. The third unit brought good energy and intensity to close it out, but this game was a meaningless one. No excuses, but they eeked out a win against a D-league lineup.
What I find interesting is that the starters look great on +/- and the backups, less so. Having watched most of the game, my take was that the numbers would be exactly the opposite. The starters were a bit flat, although certainly not bad, and the bench seemed to be making things happen. But here we are.
Even without all world MVP Keegan Murray, the Kings still end up on top. This team cannot be beat.
Weird game… interesting to see the Kings 3rd string and g-league guys finishing out the game for the win. Did Washington play 45 minutes?
Wasn’t that take foul actually a clear path foul? If so why wasn’t it called one? I hope the refs just got it wrong, otherwise it seems the new take foul rule has obsoleted the clear path rule and its extra free throw.
Box score suggests an ugly game where we shot really poorly, even from the free throw line. Glad I didn’t see it.
Okay folks, remember the rules!
When we play badley against second stringers, it’s only a meaningless preseason game.
When we win convincingly, it’s only preseason, BUT [enter outrageously positive prediction about the Kings despite the SSS.]
I can’t stop thinking about how much larger our margin of victory would have been if they played their full squad and we had a healthy Murray and Holmes.
It’s clear that without Keegan, we won’t be a championship contender.
Another ECF exit, tops.
Ellis had the least amount of playtime. He had zero points converted but was the only positive player in the plus/minus category of the nine other players who didn’t start.
Username checks out.
It looks like they are trying to make quick decisons (to pass, i.e. ball movement) which is in principle good (no buddy-esque pounding of the ball into nowhere), but often they are getting hasty & over-excited and turning it over (Monk). I liked Huerter.
Ugly from both teams. Cook really carried us late for a while. Glad we got the W but our free throws were atrocious and nobody got shots to fall. Felt like Tim Donaghy refed last night.
It felt like every referee in the league was making calls last night.
Unless it was Fox getting fouled.
Yeah, the refs are already in midseason form on that bullshit.
