The Sacramento Kings face off against the Phoenix Suns tonight for their third game of the preseason. Will the Kings continue their preseason dominance? Will the Suns starters be cowards and sit to avoid De’Aaron Fox? We’ll have to wait to find out!
When: October 12, 2022, 7:00 PM PT
Where: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ

The Kings may be without Richaun Holmes and Keegan Murray, who are both battling a non-Covid illness. From the Sacramento Bee’s Jason Anderson:
Rookie forward Keegan Murray and center Richaun Holmes are considered questionable for Sacramento’s third preseason game. Both players are suffering from non-COVID-19 illnesses, the team said.
Murray, who led the Kings in scoring in preseason wins over the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers, did not participate in Tuesday’s practice. Kings coach Mike Brown said Murray was not expected to travel to Phoenix with the team Tuesday afternoon. However, Brown said Murray would be reevaluated later Tuesday and again Wednesday, leaving open the possibility of him joining the team in time for the game.
Playing without Keegan could damper some of the enthusiasm for this game, and likely means another game of KZ Okpala in the starting lineup. It’s unclear if KZ will remain the starter in the regular season, but has started the last two preseason games.
Hmmm, I guess they won’t be pulling the ol’ switcheroo with Kris and Keegan.
Keegan is sick? I knew he was a bust.
Progress, we traded brittle and now have indisposed.
Oh, I was just kidding. Keegan has exceeded all of my expectations so far.
The Suns have become a contender
While we’re still at best a pretender.
Coach Brown must decide
One more starter to ride.
Pick offense or choose a defender!
**Guess if Keegan’s out, Coach won’t have much to decide tonight!
I say it every year, it’s pathetic that they can’t properly broadcast a whole whopping 4 games.
Its incredibly lame.
Well, with the Athletics and Giants kicking ass in the postseason, you can see why there are no available resources to broadcast a Kings game.

Isn’t “locals only” a surfing term?
…..OHhhhhh. I get it. Surfing….the…..web….
Ugh. 🙁
My situation is different, I have Comcast but don’t pay for NBA League Pass. My DVR is set to always record Kings games and it recorded the game on channel 3057 PHXLP; I assuming NBA League Pass is free right now during preseason.
Typical Kings preseason B.S. I’m in the Kings market just over an hour away from Golden 1 and I’ve gotten three preseason Lakers games on national TV already. And the Lakers aren’t even going to make the playoffs.
Since you can’t watch the game, check out Bill Simmons Over/Under broadcast and try to contain yourself that Kings Over, and Kings in the play in are his favorite picks this year and the team is going to be really fun to watch. https://www.theringer.com/the-bill-simmons-podcast/2022/10/11/23400039/nba-over-under-preview-awards-predictions
***TRIGGER WARNING***
Bill Simmons
I just noticed this above the area where I make a new comment (don’t know if it’s been there for a while)

Thank you very much TKH editors for the clarification. It was frustrating for a comment to be “awaiting approval” for a decent amount of time.

Hmmm, I don’t see that when I comment..
If Keegan needs any organs I happily volunteer everyone’s here.
