Somebody should tell the broadcast team that Jokic isn’t pronounced Joker. It’s one thing to call a nickname out every now and then, but holy shit. They’ve just made it his name now. It’s awful commentating.
Seriously. It the the most annoying fucking thing tonight. Call the man by his name. Imagine an entire game hearing “Mamba” or “Off Night” or “Velvet”. It’s juvenile commentating right now.
Giving up a 9-0 run at the end of the quarter to be behind 16 irritates me more. We were poised to only be down 3-5. No Murray, no Gordon and still getting killed. Pathetic. I fear the early season optimism was premature.

A lot of it is due to seeing spurts of quality basketball for the first time in almost 2 decades. But yeah, this team has a few holes to fill to be a legit playoff team.

Either McNair or his replacement is going to need to look for a Mitchell replacement. The bench has a hard enough time scoring, and having a defense-only PG “running” things isn’t helping at all.

I’m gonna say that my earlier pessimism was really a reverse jinx that gave the Kings the win. No LTB chants during the game. Good thing.
Great game Kings! Enjoyed the game in person last night, but watching this game at home back in Humboldt was pretty sweet!

so the Rona got me and I guess I lost track of what day it is. The Rona is just like a bad Cold, anyway I forgot Monday was a holiday and took Tuesday off… been crazy busy at work and saw a note come across that Sabonis was going to play Weds against the Nuggets. Perfect no need to worry about game because I was thinking it was Tuesday… so I kept working on my project and see announcement come across phone that the Kings beat the Nuggets…
happy Kings won and looked at Box Score and just knew I had to come read the Dumpster Fire comments early on to see if any of the usual chicken little commentators would comment as the game got close… nope just hot takes and a disappearing act.
