First time here for a game in the bubble. I am a good luck charm. I expect big games from Bjelica, Giles, and Bogdanovic.
I also expect big games from Dorian Finney-Smith, Doncic, and Porzingis.

TBH, I’m not really encouraged by a good start. It’s so meaningless. Wake me up when the Kings win 5 games in a row….then we can talk.

I know Vlade has made myriad mistakes, but not picking up the option on Harry Giles ranks #1 for me. I am so sad that he likely will no longer be a King after this season. Breaks my heart.
Worse than picking the rap artist MB3FIVE?
Definitely not worse from a basketball or franchise perspective, but letting Giles go hurts me more. If that makes sense.

Oh please RORDOG. He just dropped an album. It’s as bad as his basketball game. It’s terrible! And, by the way, I love hip hop and seeing guys getting into the arts and other things on their free time.
The risk-reward ratio on that decision is baffling.

Weird, he always seemed like he’s decent for such a young player, and he’s only 21 right? Why would his options not be picked up already? Glancing at his stats he seems promising.

I’d be pretty surprised if another team offers Harry something substantial. OTOH, it doesn’t seem like a stretch that Harry would leave given he has the opportunity.

Yeah he is. Idk why he didnt get any run down the stretch. Bjelica was atrocious out there. We could’ve used Harry’s bball IQ and grit. When holmes fouled out I thought for sure Harry would finally get some more burn but of course Walton but belly back in

This is the type of play that makes it so frustrating to be a Kings fan. We all know that they are a decent team when they share the ball and scrap on defense. Not a great team, but a playoff 8th seed contender. It just isn’t consistent enough and that is Vlade and Luke’s fault. It’s not good enough. It makes the lows feel so much lower.
On a different note, I applied to be a virtual fan and am bummed I didn’t get picked, yet there are so many open spots on the board haha.
You have to kiss Vivek, Matina and Vlade’s ring to get in the fan bubble. I would never agree to that.
I don’t really get frustrated by the spells of decent play, that’s sort of part and parcel of mediocre NBA teams. Even, say, 13-7 stretches happen annually to poor NBA teams.

So my predictions thus far are looking pretty accurate which is hilarious. I said the most Kangz thing to do would be to get stomped by the Spurs and Magic and then beat Dallas when it basically doesn’t mean anything. Looking good so far Kangz! The only thing we’re missing now is the inevitable loss to the Nets which should be forthcoming at some point. Lets make it happen!

Bogdan 0-11 with horrible defense but somehow in the game during a crucial stretch in the 4th quarter
They are really telegraphing the attempts to feed alley-oops to Holmes. Bogi looked awkward waiting for it, then having to take a difficult shot.
Just look at this half court offense. It’s freaking pathetic.
The Sacramento Kings: it’s freaking pathetic.
Losing by 2-3 points behind a Doncic triple-double is certainly a fun way this could end.

I’m not watching the game but the box score has me laughing while sitting at my desk working right now. This is glorious ineptitude really by both teams but especially the Kings.
The Mavs’ offense finally sputters, and Luke chooses to go full Hold My Beer. Incredible.
I’ve seen this happen so many times I feel like I can see it happening in my head without watching the game.

The things that has plagued this team for well over a decade continue to be the same things I continue to find myself screaming at the tv about. Lack of ball movement, horrible shot selection, lack of hustle, horrible coaching, inability to get to the foul line and hit free throws, and no defense. You can play musical chairs with players, gms, and coaches but we continue to get the same results: crappy basketball.
I love this team and will always root for my hometown squad but I’ve often wondered lately why do I even plan my day around this shit show
Buddy dribbling leads to predictable result: A turnover
Why.. why… Every time I see Buddy doing any dribbling at all I cringe in anticipation.
This game might be worse than the first 2. Dallas stunk it up out there and the Kings still found a way to bumble this one away. The offensive execution the last 4-5 minutes and in OT was embarrassing.
Horrendous coaching down the stretch. Mavs couldn’t play any worse. Mavs shoot 22percent from 3. 17
turnovers. Shoot 35 percent and still win. No doubt. Luke can’t coach in the NBA.
Fox going one on one against Maxi was cringeworthy.
Reminded me of Westphal and Tyreke all over again. 1:4 flat

The offense down the stretch was horrific.
As WAlton said though, the team just being here, as one of the final 22 out of 30 teams, is an achievement. Definitely something to get excited about moving forward with this team. Another excellent offeseason and draft with Vlade at the helm upcoming, the sky is the limit for this franchise!
Walton has a Losers Mentality. If you’re not here to get a playoff spot, what’s the point? It’s getting to the point where I am really starting to hate this guy. Spurs, Blazers and Suns are all balling their asses off. But, Luke Walton thinks this is an extended preseason
I’ve hated him since he was a Laker player. ð¤ Dude seriously is the worst coach ever. I want to scream at my TV when his awful coaching is failing in front of him and he’s got that vacant stare on his face. Like “that’s on YOU, do your job!!!”, but he just wanders the sideline like a mental patient wondering if they’re going to have pudding for lunch.
Honestly, this is awesome. This team is going down in flames in the best way possible. Sheer and total embarrassment is the only way anything will ever change and even that is a slim chance but it’s better than nothing.
Yep, if this clusterfuck ends up actually changing things for the better for the long term, I am all for that.
That’s literally the only thing we can hope for at this point. The team isn’t very talented, the coach is really REALLY bad and the front office is the worst in the league by a fairly wide margin. There’s nothing else to really root for at this point.
Still have bad/dumb ownership that gives little hope that they’ll hire the right people. That said, it’s still a better option than just sticking with Vlade/Luke for the next handful of wasted seasons(which they probably do anyway considering the deals they just gave both of them this past offseason).
I get it but I am positive Vlade and the current front office are going to fail about 95% of the time and I am not yet positive that unnamed GM or VP of BBall Ops to be named later are going to be a disaster. They probably will be but they aren’t yet. Give me the unknown over the known at this oint.

My vote in no particular order: Blazers, Spurs or Toronto
I would say the Sacramento MLS team, but that is postponed…
I would never move on from this team just because how much it means to Sacramento
However; Im in on the Blazers…close to Sacramento, seems like a good fanbase, and the players play extremely hard and passionate. Loved how Nurkic fought during the Memphis game.
They could just call it The Raptors Herald: Because Sacramento Doesn’t Have a Basketball Team

We’d be able to make it back in time to ride the Kings bandwagon in 2054 when they are the NBA Champs!

Why are the Kings paying Luke instead of Luka?
Luka did a better job leading and coaching his team. Luke just lets Fox dribble around 1 on 1 with no play at the end of regulation.
