Holy crap, the game’s starting! Good thing I checked the site.
Let’s do this, Kings. Show us what you got.
Gallo del Cielo is already drunk, and he likes our chances.
Kyle doesn’t want to see any major roster moves. We’re right there, he says, lol.
Don’t blow it up, just some minor tweaks, what!!
Happy New Year everybody…Go Kings!
Kayte says Fox is one of the best guards in the league.
Ok
One of the best guards on the Kings.
Jeez Buddy..
Holmes is waking up, nice to see
Dallas is a pretty good team.
Dallas is pretty good, Kings keeping it close. Have to stop this Brunson guy.
Winnable game.
Bagley is still bad. His passing is non-existent
Says Brown as Bagley did make a decent pass
Third quarter woes continue…
Fucking third quarter collapse again,
Blowout city
Kings don’t have a standout player that can stop these extended runs.
This was the blowout I was expecting yesterday. – Just can’t figure out these Kings and their inconsistency….
At least we don’t have to watch this later.
Just get it over with.
Brunson blows away any of the King’s guards
Should pull all the starters out now.
It’s just one of those nights for the Kings (Like so many other nights).
Is Metu efficient?
it Has nothing to do with be efficient he’s just garb
For the first 5 shots… yes.
I don’t think there’s a way to improve this team. Only option is to break it down and build it from scratch again. Which is sad considering the 16+ years of ineptitude and not even a foundation to show for it….
I like Hali/Mitchell, just have to get rid of the rest and rebuild. But those two guards will have us competitive eventually
Fair point. Love Hali. Still think I would trade em’ all and start over, vs. building around anyone on the roster.
Same. Basketball hell is going to break Hali’s spirit eventually, then he’s going to start mailing it in, too. No one escapes.
This team needs to get blown up. They need a lot more than one player to get over the hump. If they were a .500 team, then one player might make a difference. This team needs a complete makeover.
Of course, according to Kayte, Dallas is winning because of Kidd’s halftime adjustments. lol.
Pretty sad when your full-strength roster gets chased off the court by a team missing some of its best players… but kudos to those half-time adjustments!
13 shots for Metu is a bit much, considering Fox has 14.
Something is wrong with Fox. He is so far from his former self that it’s pathetic
The cynical answer: he got paid.
The kind answer: he can’t handle the stress and expectations of being a franchise player.
The honest answer: I have no clue what is wrong with him.
Fox thrived as the go to guy that gets fed non stop. Hali came in there and now he has selective looks not just the go to guy.
Fox is another victim of this franchise just seeing any talent then blessing them from the start like they are lebron james. He doesn’t care because there is no actual pressure on him just annoying fans.
If he demands a trade at some point this season I think we’ll have a better understanding (he doesn’t want to be here anymore)
That’s what I think it is. He used to have a fire and be a competitor. I think he wants out.
You see it all the time. Guy gets paid and he withers under the added expectations. It was nice that Metu hit the three to win the last game but I would rather see Fox take it hard to the rack. That’s what franchise players do.
And yet he had better percentages from the field than Fox…
You’d expect a game winner to give the team a jolt of energy.
it lasted exactly one quarter.
I disliked the DMC years, but this may be the most frustrating Kings team ever. No backbone, no pride or grit and very little joy and cohesion. It’s ugly.
The only thing, among those things, Cuz had was grit. He was a punk, and I wish that wasn’t the case.
Wow. Kyle Guy with 15/4/4 and 3 steals in 15min off the bench for Miami at the half.
