I guess they are serious about 50 W’s. ????????????????
Of course they have to win them first
Aye!
I can’t understand how between weight work, practices and playing heavy minutes every game how Luca can look fatter and slower as the season conclude. My son was an elite hammer thrower in college and also did discus and shot and he had to eat massive amounts of food just to maintain his weight.
He’s not even fat lol it’s just people hating on him
Check out how he looked at the beginning of the season compared to how he looks now
well he doesn’t play defense and his game isn’t predicated on speed
I’m guessing Luka’s personal fitness level isn’t all that high despite what gets claimed publicly. It might be a thing where he’s not doing the right kind of weight work and it might also be a deal where he needs to get a cardio level that he can be at high level every night.
But who knows? I don’t….
Len grabbing some rebounds and loose balls
Wow somebody clip the possession on Keegan’s second three!
This is such beautiful offensive basketball
yeah, that was a nice stretch there …
Mavs have a “Hammer Time” cam …
Wondering if the Pels can get back into their game in the 2nd half…. they are down 10 with 15+ mins to go….
Lakers Clippers playing tonight …
Eh, that goes how it goes. Clippers should win since they haven’t played since Saturday. Even more so since the Lakers will be on a SEGABABA and the game went to OT last night in SLC.
Just got off work and looking at the stats. Can only imagine how far ahead we would be if we hit some more threes.
Herb Jones career high with 29.
nice. cool player
After reading the preview comments, I am idly curious about negative awards, such as Least Valuable Player, Defensive Sieve of the Year, Worst Coach of the Year (Kidd?), Best Choke Player, etc.
Can’t let Kyrie get hot or at least as much as possible don’t let him get open shots
And here comes the Dallas Luka’s….
all fueled by Fox’s missed breakaway dunk. but then again, the lead the Kings had was mostly from Fox.
Yeah, that’s when things seemed to turn.
His constant bitching would get on my nerves real fast.
I’m glad he isn’t on the Kings. I do not agree with Will’s preview, I’ll say that much.
I don’t like sour grapes either
Sabonis drawing the foul on a midrange jumper!
Kessler with a couple of offensive rebounds ..,
Pels up on the Grizzlies 111-107 with 5+ mins to go.
117-114 Pelicans 1:54 to go.
123-118 Pels with 13 secs to go.
Thank you ESPN
Wow. Bane missed a FT and Jackson grabs the rebound, gets fouled, Pels-Grizz go to OT.
Len keeping the ball alive on the offensive glass with tip-outs …
It’s like finding another good pick at the end of the season.
Kings killing the Mavs on 2nd chance points and the offensive boards. Shades of the Brooklyn game.
Def Flagrant 1 lol such a stoopid rule
Kyrie in his bag at the moment
Mark Jones: “Some things you just can’t stop: the IRS and Kyrie”
monk is not good and hurts more than he helps
LORD HAVE MERCY Luka likes to stand around and watch.
Pels and Griz going to OT
Pels up 8 with 3 mins to go in OT. Kings can’t take advantage of a break yet again for the 2nd game in 3 tries.
We reallyyyy need to quiet this crowd down
Maybe Fox should. His missed dunk is what woke up Dallas
Kings are getting Kyrie Irving’d. This is nutso stuff…..but this is what he does sometimes.
We could’ve ended their season, instead….
serenity now …
New Orleans won their matchup with the Grizz but the Kings will still likely lose anyway. Oh well, no big deal.
And they end up losing. Eh, whatever. I wouldn’t have played Sabonis and Fox but whatever. As long as they are functioning and fine, it’s not that big of a deal.
And you aren’t winning when Irving goes off and the Mavs as a team makes 20 3’s.
I honestly think it was the Fox missed dunk that fueled it.
Yeah. They also scored 44 points in the 2nd qtr, they scored 48 total in the 2nd half. Emotionally it might be the Fox missed dunk, but that was with like 19 mins to go in the game or whatever. I don’t think it would have been the same thing if they just had made their shots. It might have been as simple as just running out of gas.
The Kings just missed shots and never could match that energy. It was a rest disadvantage SEGABABA, Dallas got away with a lot of contact (surprised Brown’s challenge actually went the Kings way), and it was a number of different things (Wood going off) that got Dallas this win.
That said, it wouldn’t especially shock me if the Mavs win these next 2 games and make the playin since it’s a Chicago team they play on Fri night who have nothing left to play for (they are the 10th seed) and San Antonio Sunday afternoon.
The missed dunk led to Luka missing a bunny shot on the next possession. Net zero.
Nonetheless two points is two points in a balanced league. It was not the turning point. It didn’t help.
It never helps to miss a dunk but it usually doesn’t really energize the other team. Dallas isn’t all that good and the Kings showed them their ass in that 2nd qtr.
Unfortunately, they just clanked alot of shots in the 2nd half. I don’t really agree with how they went after this game but as long as everyone is healthy, I don’t really care.
It is what it is. Not an impactful or meaningful loss IMO.
No one was shooting well in the second half, as you pointed out.
And Eddie, the Kings were up several times early in the 4th qtr. I just looked up Fox’s missed dunk (that was in the first minute of the 3rd qtr). I don’t think that impacts the game.
They were up 107-106 with 6:55 to go. I don’t think it was much more or less than just the missing shots. Not a salaciously fun thing to complain about, of course, but that’s just what it seems like to me.
Katie catching feelings
Damn, Pels beat the Griz. Real missed opportunity.
Should be tied with Griz if we’d handled business with Spurs and built on our13 point send half lead.
Clippers up 63-46 over the Lakers. 4:38 to go in the 1st half.
Can’t even be mad. Tip of the cap to Kyrie. He made some insane shots in the 4th. Sure, would’ve liked the win to get to 49 but not with Irving’s brilliance tonight.
It was a must win for them and they really had the crowd behind them tonight
I really felt the Kings would pull it out, that Irving couldn’t stay that hot, hell, he got better. Some of those 3 pointers had raindrops on them he shot them so high. He is a talent, no?
Even with Irving having an excellent game the Kings did not quit.
Irving was vintage Curry out there.
Benjamin Franklin catching lightning in a bottle. 19 points in the tail end of the 4th quarter.
I noticed Luka sort of limping a bit and thought he might be laying a trap faking it a bit, but I think his knee is sore from connecting with Malik earlier in the game.
Even then, felt like there were so many bad non-calls. Kings were getting hacked around like crazy and no calls. I also feel like whenever a couple players go cold, the entire team just goes cold. It’s weird. This team is very streaky.
The Mavs got very physical, pushing grabbing, hacking. In the locker room now, despite Hardaway coming over and giving Fox a hug after the game, Dearon is pissed. Hardaway was fouling him on each possession, including the double dribble call which was a foul against Fox.
The Association…
Oh well.
monk is an iq less ball player that giveth more than taketh and helped give away this one. guy needs to be out of here this summer
over the course of the season he is on the wrong side of the ledger of helping/hurting. he is def a bottom tier first guard off the bench, and his relationship with fox doesn’t mend things
Second most points for a non-starter in the league.
