Jazz missing their 3 leading scorers and I guess the Kings thought they could just not even bother on the defensive end. Jazz with 27 already midway through the 1st. Yuck
Classic trap game I guess. Jazz missing all their best players and the Kings wrapping up a 4 game road trip and looking about as bad as possible on both ends of the floor
This is one I’d really want to win so it doesn’t feel as bad when we lose in Boston tomorrow. Push yourselves tonight against a weak Jazz team, rest against the title contender.
Good news is that its early and in today’s NBA, large leads don’t really mean much. Bad news is that it won’t matter if the Kings keep playing this level of defense all game
At some point, you need to go up and body these guys when they’re trying to dunk. Take the foul, but make them think about the possibility of hitting the floor on their next attempt.
Kings starting to hit their shots which you’d expect with this offense. Just needs to start happening on the defensive end and they can pull themselves out of that early hole they dug in that 1st
This is looking like they decided to take a night off in pregame. No focus, lazy ball movement, practice-effort shooting, barely guarding. It’s been a fruitful road-trip and it’s a back to back with a solid team coming up tomorrow night, but you at least like to see some semblance of effort.
Just when you think they are getting it together they leave a player open for eazy bucket. Davion did put some great ball pressure on the guy bringing the ball up
One thing they need to focus on cutting down is biting on pumps. It would go a long way to boosting defense. Time and time again teams pump-fake on them, because they know they’ll jump themselves right out of position to defend the actual shot.
They really had one of the all time worst rebrands of any sports team. Not sure what they were thinking with those uniforms/colors. Looks like some generic practice uni or something. Terrible stuff
Thanks a lot, Mavs. 13 point lead going into the 4th against Memphis and then they go 6+ minutes without scoring and get outscored 29-12. They stink. Would love the Kings facing them RD1
Looking at 38 and 35/36 minutes from Domas/Fox in this one. Really need to find a way to pull this one out with them hosting Boston tomorrow and their 2 stars playing heavy minutes
Had their chances and couldn’t connect. Had a good road trip even if it ended in disappointment. Can’t have quarters like that 1st at this time in the year. Got an even tougher assignment tomorrow night now with Boston in town
Here’s an idea: don’t get down by 25 points early in the game. Rudy Gay gets the last laugh. Kessler ate Domas’ dinner tonight. Shame to waste Fox’s great game.
Kessler really held Domas in check. Can’t believe how badly the Jazz fleeced the Wolves in that Gobert trade. Dude’s already providing them with elite rim protection but on a rookie contract
Jazz win also bumps the Lakers out of the play-in again so I can’t be too upset with the loss
I’m not mad or disappointed. I mean, Jazz is HELLA DEEP and Will Hardy is a damn, great coach. We really missed Huerter tonight but he’s out cos of Boston. Road streak over, now we go home to a SEGABABA against Boston with Timelord back in the lineup. Still, road to 50 wins still continue. See ya tomorrow guys!

Go Kings!
Let’s make this a perfect road trip. Go Kings!
Kings need to calm down.
Just no defense
Maybe it’s just me but has anybody glimpsed any defense played by the Kings yet?………..Anybody?
Jazz missing their 3 leading scorers and I guess the Kings thought they could just not even bother on the defensive end. Jazz with 27 already midway through the 1st. Yuck
Also looking like they don ‘t think they need to bother with scoring any points either
This is getting ugly. Just like the Jazz outfits.
Uhh…this is not going too well
TD gotta stick to just catch and shooting. Disaster whenever he tries to be a playmaker
Maybe try getting to the rim or drawing a foul???
Almost over in the first quarter! Just jacking stupid ass threes. Can we get some 4th quarter Fox?
Classic trap game I guess. Jazz missing all their best players and the Kings wrapping up a 4 game road trip and looking about as bad as possible on both ends of the floor
Signs of tired all over. But c’mon, don’t allow such an embarrassment.
This is one I’d really want to win so it doesn’t feel as bad when we lose in Boston tomorrow. Push yourselves tonight against a weak Jazz team, rest against the title contender.
Brown going to Ellis to try anything to get the Kings to show any sort of life on the defensive end
Ellis and Delly! Trying anything right now
Just not Delly threes pretty please!
But backboards must be broken!
Dely launching threes can’t be the answer ????
This poor defense is going to absolutely sink the Kings in the playoffs.
Those last 2 possessions were a great summary of that 1st quarter. THT with an easy dunk and then a terrible shot/miss by the Kings.
I guess we have a bug comeback to look forward too?
Don’t agree with Brown trying to prove a point by emptying the end of the bench.
Good news is that its early and in today’s NBA, large leads don’t really mean much. Bad news is that it won’t matter if the Kings keep playing this level of defense all game
I will feel better about this if this is about keeping the Lakers away from the Top 10 lols.
This zone is fucking them up, stop chucking garbage
Absolutely zero perimeter defense being played by the Kings. Anyone and everyone on the Jazz just walking into the paint unbothered
Monk needs some lotion in his hands. Ball just slipping away from him the past few games
Is the owner of the Jazz 17 years old?
Missed 3, missed 3, turnover, turnover, missed 3, turnover….
So a 3 guard lineup with Metu at center and a 4th string guard is the answer?
I’d be fine with running the bench out for the entire 2nd half. Call it a night and rest up for Boston.
Want to see Fox go nuclear now. Take this game over now!
17% chance of happening.
11 straight points and an assist is a good start!
Did you do that in your head?
Just try and find a way to get this down to 10-12 by halftime
2nd quarter fox
At some point, you need to go up and body these guys when they’re trying to dunk. Take the foul, but make them think about the possibility of hitting the floor on their next attempt.
Kings starting to hit their shots which you’d expect with this offense. Just needs to start happening on the defensive end and they can pull themselves out of that early hole they dug in that 1st
Box score not looking like a hot team.
Totally unacceptable to play like this with 2 All Stars on the floor.
It seems like a “run through the motions” game.
This is looking like they decided to take a night off in pregame. No focus, lazy ball movement, practice-effort shooting, barely guarding. It’s been a fruitful road-trip and it’s a back to back with a solid team coming up tomorrow night, but you at least like to see some semblance of effort.
Could it be that the team is just exhausted after a long road trip and decided to take a night off, knowingly or not?
Exhausted from a few road games?
kayte Is god damn annoying
especially when we are getting our butts kicked
Just when you think they are getting it together they leave a player open for eazy bucket. Davion did put some great ball pressure on the guy bringing the ball up
One thing they need to focus on cutting down is biting on pumps. It would go a long way to boosting defense. Time and time again teams pump-fake on them, because they know they’ll jump themselves right out of position to defend the actual shot.
Kings leaving their feet on every pump fake and out of control just flying by shooters on every closeout.
I’d bet the Kings win this one
Kings by 5
Good test. Let’s see what adjustments are made at halftime
Couldn’t get it to 10-12 but 16. Still not great but still plenty of time.
I know the problem…the Jazz ugly ass jerseys are playing tricks on the King’s eyes.
They really had one of the all time worst rebrands of any sports team. Not sure what they were thinking with those uniforms/colors. Looks like some generic practice uni or something. Terrible stuff
Don’t leave Kris Dunn open on the perimeter
Crafty Fox! Deficit down to single digits now.
Hahahahahaha
That was awesome, Mr. Fox
Thanks a lot, Mavs. 13 point lead going into the 4th against Memphis and then they go 6+ minutes without scoring and get outscored 29-12. They stink. Would love the Kings facing them RD1
Down their all-world all-star. Tough
Fox inbound off the back of a Jazz player. That player gets an assist?
Defense leading to offense. Keep it up, Kings
Keegan puts it in the hoop down low
Foxy for the trey. Knew that was going in
Brand new ballgame
You can’t stop them, you can only hope to contain them.
Man This offense is just different
Gary Geroud’s voice went up a half octave with the 3 to tie the game up.
Rudy Gay trying to do his best impression of the Black Falcon with that mask. HB don’t need no mask.
Rudy Gay with the dunk! My man!
Rudy’s gay
Knock it off
JAzz picking on Monk on defense this quarter
Tf is Davion doing, right near the basket with nobody near him and he pulls a Ben Simmons
Kings are just dorking around? Sabonis has thrown out a couple of times when he was right at the basket with one player on him.
Yeah he’s being a bit too unselfish. Passing up some good looks for himself right under the rim.
Look at the Hazz hanging tough with the 2nd seed without there three best players
Wink wink
Kings keep tying it up but just can’t grab the lead….yet
Until just now lol. Nice, Metu!
Lyles has turned down, I think, every single open shot he has had tonight. I have to wonder if his shoulder is still hurt
And right as I say that Trey nails a 3
Professor Red V. Elvet holding class on the bench with Keegan.
Kings just waiting for the last two minutes to put this game away. Wouldn’t be surprised if we win by double digits
Omg I wish Monk ended his life on that poster
Man that’s close to a take foul. Could go either way.
called it bro
Malik is so squiggly
I guess you could leave a shooter open for a straight ahead 3 but 15 feet open?
Sabonis.
Sabonis has been fouled like 4 times in a row without a call.
5 times
He has been hit on the head so many times I’m surprised he doesn’t experience vertigo every time he stands up. What pure bullshit by the refs
How many god damn bunnies is Sabonis gonna miss. Should be light work especially for him
They get a tad more difficult to make when you’re being elbowed in the head.
That’s not a bunny
They get a tad more difficult to make when you’re being elbowed in the head.
Until he can tell if up is down or vice versa……….it may take a while
Dude you waiting for your moment to unleash. Bad thing the Kings don’t give you a lot of opportunities this season. So bask in the moment now.
Looking at 38 and 35/36 minutes from Domas/Fox in this one. Really need to find a way to pull this one out with them hosting Boston tomorrow and their 2 stars playing heavy minutes
Need to send a mix tape to the league of all the non-calls of sabonis getting hit in the head
Foxy….nothing but net
Damn. Left Olynyk wide open in the corner and then Domas trying to force one against Kessler. Down 5 just like that
Wide open corner threes for the opponent is our calling card.
So if a Kings player hit a Jazz player it’s a foul. But if a Jazz player hits a Kings player it’s not. Got it.
HB choked
HB doesn’t choke. HB doesn’t know what the word means. HB missed a shot. HB reigns.
What a bunch of shit.
I thought the NBA wanted the Lakers to make the playoffs?
Had their chances and couldn’t connect. Had a good road trip even if it ended in disappointment. Can’t have quarters like that 1st at this time in the year. Got an even tougher assignment tomorrow night now with Boston in town
worst loss of the season
Not even close. Getting wiped out by the Pelicans in NO or Wizards at home holds that distinction.
Losing at home to the Hornets who were on the backend of a B2B and were on a 8 game losing streak also fits this
Don’t know man, not quite. It’s still the loss against the Pels G-League team or the shorthanded 76ers for me.
Umm we just basically played a g-league team tonight. Was basically 0-0 starting the 4th after being down 25 and can’t close the game
lol
Dunn looks great… I hope he keeps it up. Good for the Jazz
What a let down. 3 best players out and you play awful and let rookies work you.
And that, kids….is why you don’t spot the other team 25 points.
Back in third place
I should have gone to sleep at halftime ????
Keegan 6 of 14 with 6 rebounds in 31 minutes Fox was 6 of 9
6-14 from 3
8-16 overall
Love to see it.
If there’s one positive here, and if anything, at least the Lakers drops out again with this loss.
