The Sacramento Kings are in Atlanta tonight to play one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Let’s get to it.
Who: Sacramento Kings (19-55) vs. Atlanta Hawks (41-44)
Where: State Farm Arena, Atlanta, GA
When: 4:00 PM PT / 7:00 PM ET
Watch: NBCSCA / League Pass
The aforementioned Atlanta Hawks have won 14 of their last 16 games. SURELY they will be good enough to keep the Kings’ tank intact, right? If anything is working against the Hawks tonight, it’s this; they lost in Boston to the Celtics yesterday, so they’ll be playing the Kings on the 2nd night of a back-to-back.
The Kings have not submitted their injury report for today quite yet, but we know it’s lengthy. They had to bring DaQuan Jeffries back on a 10-day hardship contract give the roster a little more depth. Jeffries played 7 minutes in the loss to Orlando on Thursday and scored two points to go along with four fouls.
Prediction: Kings 120, Hawks 118.

As the Hawks fight for playoff position,
A win will improve their condition.
They may be back-to-back,
But they can’t afford slack.
Only Vivek deserves this perdition!
+1 There will be no ducking the Hawks!
Man, I knew the Kings were bad, but I had no idea millions of people would march and protest about them.
The No Kangz rallies are scheduled for next month.
May 10th Sunday – circled on my calendar.
If only we could get rid of the assholes running the Kangz and country.
All this talk about Kuminga being good. That Kerr was wrong. That he’s worth pursuing….bullshit. He’s not even starting. He’s exact what he was in GS. Can’t shoot. Individual player. Rotational piece at best.
so, of course the Kmagz would want him
Reinforcing the tank today!
As has been mentioned on other TKH threads, taking the decision out of the head coach’s hands when going into a critical tanking game such as today’s. The way it should be done and is with other competently tanking teams. Kangz ‘organization’ just late the party, as usual.
I mean, shouldn’t this have been the starting lineup since the trade deadline??? (With the possible substitution of PBJ for The Big Sneeze to really test out potential future Kings)

And even Plowden has probably aged out of contention for the future with our current timeline.
Tony must have an aversion to posting a thread for games involving the Nets and Kings, so I’ll drop this here for now:
Maybe this time we won’t light the Beam
As tonight the Nets are the home team.
Keep our tank in high gear
Till we close out this year.
Better yet if it makes Vivek scream!
