Keep turning that 3rd quarter lull from the last decade and a half and be aggressive going to the basket. Keep winning point in the paint, stay strong with rebounds and keep taking care of the rock.
So sick of seeing Ja just leave his feet jumping into a defender and then yelling to draw calls….but since he keeps getting them, may as well stick with it
This Grizzlies team has some heelish energy. Tough, physical, and do a lot of talking on the court. I’m sure it’s fun if you’re a fan, but I would love to shut them up on the scoreboard.
Need 4th quarter Fox to show up here if they’re gonna pull this out. He’s got more turnovers than made FG so far this game. Not a good 3 quarters for him
Sabonis is the only player on this team that can be reliably counted on to rebound the ball. Whenever he sits, or has to tussle with a guy like Adams, someone else needs to step up.
When you play the elite teams in the conference you need your stars to show up. Fox hasn’t in this one. Still 8 minutes and only down 9 so there’s still a chance
Tough loss but taking stock of the season thus far, it’s important to keep some perspective. At the start, many of us would’ve been happy with a 39-43 season, taking steps in the right direction. Now, we get upset losing to a title contender on their home court. Not bad.
Kings are way ahead of where I expected them to be at this point, and I was a preseason optimist. We’re starting to get a feel for this roster, and now it’s up to Monte to make the appropriate tweaks heading into the second half of the season.
The Kings have had worse losses this season than tonight. By quite a bit, realistically. But it was an opportunity lost because you could have won this game if you could have ever figured it out in the 2nd half offensively (they couldn’t).
Onto Utah.

I predict a Kings Win. B,C,B, D on the others
Gallo del Cielo also likes our chances.
Keegan and Domas looking good so far, in particular.
All the Grizz points have come from free throws so far
Richaun Holmes awesome.
Foxy
3 for 3
This looks like it’s either going to become a gritty battle or a three-point shootout
Richaun forcing that rebound away from Adams, nice.
Keegan is moving really well without the ball
Fox seems to be having a midrange slump
He’s really a slow starter.
Game plan is to just let Morant run in to the paint with no resistance. Seems like a solid plan
No one under 6′ 7″ should be in the paint against JJJ
Grizzlies have multiple defensive all nba guys
Cold shooting but Grizz do guard .
One good quarter
I really need to stop being a doomer
There are just a few guys in the NBA that Adams can’t move down low. Unfortunately Domas isn’t one of them.
Is it time for Lensanity?
Wrong decade I think.
You must be thinking of Linsanity
I was thinking of Len. He’s an old style center who would have fit in better back in the oughts or even earlier
Starters back in. Hello turnovers. Goodbye lead.
That foot is still clearly bothering Fox. Aside from his full-speed runs, he’s got half-limp the rest of the time.
Domas already with a double/double in the 1st half lol. Dude is a machine
Can we just resign him already?
Maybe that gets Fox going
Great contest from Holmes, just couldn’t convert

Just keep being awesome Jimmy. Your keys to the game surpass Kenny’s
I mean stay out the paint and keep hitting 3’s
That’s ok……Kenny didn’t know what he was saying
Grizzly commentators keep complaining about how so many of our players play better than their averages against them – welcome to our world
Malik monk says we’re scared of being 5 games above .500
Dillion Brooks looks like a bully
Dilon Brooks has that irrational confidence of a Draymond Green but without being as good as Green
The amount of swearing Taylor Jenkins is directing at the refs should have gotten him tossed by now
So sick of seeing Ja just leave his feet jumping into a defender and then yelling to draw calls….but since he keeps getting them, may as well stick with it
some of the calls he gets are truly criminal
Threes aren’t falling, just go inside and get fouls
Bogus 3rd foul on Domas
Make a shot please

5-13 ain’t gonna cut it
the grizzlies have drafted real well. all these players I’ve seen Kings pass on the second roungd lol
Monk WTF are you doing man…
Sabonis is the only player on this team that can be reliably counted on to rebound the ball. Whenever he sits, or has to tussle with a guy like Adams, someone else needs to step up.
yeah hopefully that gets addressed soon, getting another rebounding big would be awesome.
Game over
The grizzlies being good at defense is no joke.
When you play the elite teams in the conference you need your stars to show up. Fox hasn’t in this one. Still 8 minutes and only down 9 so there’s still a chance
Next time the kings are 4 games above .500, I am betting on the opposing team to win. Can’t seem to get 5 above
Grizzlies upping their defensive pressure
Whilst ours crumbles
No ball pressure, just letting them walk in to the offense
Kings seem gassed
I think it’s highly inappropriate that the Memphis announcer shouts out “NOPE” after every Kings missed shot.
They are really bad
They? Who are you talking about?
Memphis announcers.
Gotcha. I’m talking about the guy in the arena on the mic.
Oh, the arena PA guy? I will pay attention now
Grizzlies just throwing shit at the glass and it’s all falling
Kings are just letting them the guards get 12 feet from the hoop with no resistance
Can’t stop Ja
Kardiac Kangz??
Adams is a man amongst boys
Damn this team for still giving me hope
Memphis just took an in-game breather the past few possessions.
every Adams OReb is a gut punch
Grizz blasting the Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out music earns bonus points from me
OMG that old video game music is terrible.
Ja’s a smart ass who can’t shoot.
Yeah this game left a bad taste in my mouth. Talent on another level, but he’s a real flopper who feels entitled to the bad calls that he gets.
Oh well. Played hard but ultimately Memphis is simply better
My lord…Lofton came in for the last few seconds and immediately looked winded.
Disappointed that I really just stayed up for that. Exciting first half but got manhandled in the second
4 games over .500 curse lives on. Kings just can’t seem to break through that ceiling
